Grant December 24, 2012 for Model Number Samsung RS265TDRS/XXA , or RS26DDAPN We have real real low water presure in our house. Is there a boost pump of some kind or a tiny pump of some kind I can get to feed this refrigerator. It is new and has ice & water in the door, side by side. I see some water valves on ebay that say they are a pump too? I need your help on this one. I thought maybe there was a valve/pump I could install in place of just the combo electric 2 valve setup that's in it now? What do you recomend. Please email me with what you can sell me to get this thing working. Water does go into the fridge but such low presure it's useless. Thanks for any help you can give & MerryChristmas & Happy Holidays to all. Grant
1 Answer Hello Grant, They do not make any type of pump that you can put on unit to increase water pressure. You could take out the filter if one comes equipped on unit to help increase pressure slightly. Read More...
Ed R. July 19, 2012 for Model Number Samsung RS2530BBP Ice maker wasn't working. No activity in the module. Replaced the module and still there is no cycling. Am I to assume that there is no power to the module or that the water valve is not functioning?
1 Answer Hello ED. Press the button under the head of the icemaker and see if the icemaker cycles and dumps the ice. If the icemaker cycles, and there is no water, replace the valve DA74-40150H. If there is no power to the icemaker, you will need to replace the main PCB. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

It is what the gray water line screws into, it is the solenoid that meters water to the ice maker or little water pump with a motor that meters water to the ice maker. What is the part number how can I order it? Thanks

Mac February 06, 2012 for Model Number Samsung Refrigerator RS2556ww On a previous question your response was that the water lines would have to be bled to get the air out of the lines. I have replaced the filter in this unit due to no water coming out of the ice or water dispenser in the door. I think that the only thing left is the water valve. I have checked the water supply and it is fine. Do you agree that this valve is the problem? Thank You in Advance.
1 Answer Hello Mac! Yes, the water valve will need to be replaced. Your part number is DA74-40150H. Thanks! Read More...

Jerry D. December 03, 2011 for Model Number RS2556SH I need instuctions on how to replace part# AP4165558 ? Thank you for your help
1 Answer Hi Jerry. Turn the unit off. Pull out the unit and the plug. Remove the back. Turn off the water line at the house wall or supply. Then unbolt the old water valve. Pay attention to the water valve wire connectors so you will correctly install them on the new water valve, part # DA74-40150H. Then remove the water lines at the valve. There are 2 - separate size lines. One is a 1/4 " , the other is a 5/16 " Line. They only hook up to the corresponding new water valve/ solenoid assy. Then reassemble. Thank You. Read More...
