Nancy January 31, 2016 for Model Number WF328AAR/XAA My Samsung washer pours water out soap dispenser on rinse. It stops if I turn the washer off. The main control panel was replaced three days ago and it stopped for two loads but started running out again tonight. What do I need to change. Thanks
1 Answer Nancy, You will want to pull the tray out and check for clogged ports at the top of the dispenser. A clogged dispenser will be the most likely cause for the issue of the water flowing out of the dispenser assembly during rinse. Read More...
Rich February 13, 2015 for Model Number WF328AAW/XAA Hello, my Samsung front load washer retains water in the fabric softener drawer after the wash cycle is done. I've raised the front of the machine a bit so that it tips to the rear hoping it would drain better. That didn't work. Will replacing the water inlet valve, part # AP4211934 correct this problem? If not what do you suggest. Thanks
1 Answer Rich, You will want to check the ports in the top of the dispenser assembly to make sure that the ports are not clogged. If this checks ok then the water valve would be what needs to be replaced. Read More...
Laura November 10, 2014 for Model Number WF306LAW My washer keeps giving the OE error. It keeps running cold water, it fills to much then it drains it. It does not stop when I turn the power off. What can be wrong? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Laura. It sounds like the water valve DC62-30312J is bad and will need to be replaced. Read More...
Hannah D. April 13, 2014 for Model Number WF330ANB/XAA 02 Hi our water valve cracked due to extreme cold. The one on our washer looks identical to the one on your site but ours says its a 30 watt model and yours says 10 watts. My husband says it should be okay that it will just draw less current but otherwise its the same. Is this right? Thanks... Hannah
1 Answer Hello Hannah! According to the model number given the cold water valve, part number DC62-00142G, is the correct replacement listed for your model and will work on your appliance. For the hot water inlet valve use part number DC62-30314K. Thanks. Read More...
Julie January 03, 2012 for Model Number Samsung Top Loader SW50USP Hi, The machine is working, but the cold & hot water will not pump into the machine. I have checked the hoses and all is ok. Will I need to buy this unit or do i need to buy two seperate inlet valves. Thanks Julie
1 Answer Hello Julie. Test for power coming to the valve assembly DC62-00142G. If there is power there, and the unit does not fill with water, you will need to replace the valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Ben May 01, 2011 for Model Number wf316law Is this the part I need to replace if the cold water does not shut off. What other part control the opening and closing of the cold water. The washer allowed the water to just keep running and the water started to run onto the floor.
1 Answer Hello Ben. If you had to turn off the water at the shut off to stop it from running in, then the water valve will fix your problem. If you turned the machine off to stop the water, then you will need to check the pressure hose and make sure it is not off or broke. If it is good, you will need to replace the pressure switch WP34001324. Hope this helps. Read More...
