Questions & Answers

For Samsung Washer Water Inlet Valve (Part Number: OEM12635811)

Raphael, the error identified is indicating the pressure sensor senses excess suds in the tub. The pressure hose port at the tub to pump hose would need to be inspected for any suds occurring (can be accessed from the rear access panel). If it is clear, the pressure sensor DC96-01703Q would be the most likely cause of failure.

Steve, what you will want to do to ensure that the valve is at fault is test for voltage. If the valve is receiving 120v AC at one of the solenoids (with cold water selected for wash temp) when it should fill, then you have a bad valve, cold water valve is part number DC62-00142G. If there is not 120v AC going to a solenoid on the valve, then you have a bad control DC92-00381K.

Hello Marc, If the water continues to come in when you unplug the unit from the wall outlet, the water valve(s), DC62-00214L or DC62-30314K, will be the cause. If the water stops when the unit is unplugged from the wall outlet, the issue is electrical and will either be the water level switch DC96-01703B or a bad control DC92-00321A.

Tom, This unit has a automatic temp control for the water. On cold it will be cold water that comes in and on hot it will be hot but on warm it will be determined by how cold the cold water is and may alternate the hot and cold water to achieve overall temp for the warm setting. If the water temperature of the cold water is above 75 degrees then the unit may not warm up the water any further. When the water is colder then it will activate the hot to mix the water with hot and cold water for warm. You will want to check the thermistor on the unit to ensure that it is good and not defective as it can cause this issue.
