Jimbo October 05, 2013 for Model Number msd2651HEB Item Water Inlet Valve 67005154. The continuity measures 270. The push button display(overlay) is stuck on Cubed ice, which works, and I cannot change to Crush or Water. Would a bad water valve keep from being able to push and get the green indicator light for Water on the overlay? Or is there a combination of problems along with the inlet?
1 Answer Jimbo, Most likely if the keypad is not responding when you try to switch from crushed to cube or to water then the keypad on the dispenser would most likely be the cause of failure. The water valve would not have any bearing on this issue. Read More...

Wendee S July 07, 2013 for Model Number PSD266LHEW Water was coming from my freezer compartment and all over the floor and would not stop until I turned the water valve off. What component(s) could have malfunctioned causing this problem?
1 Answer Wendee, You most likely have a "stuck" open solenoid on the water inlet valve WP67005154 on the back of the refrigerator. Did you notice any issues with the ice cubes or water /ice in the freezer compartment before this issue occurred ? There is a slight possibility that the ice maker fill circuit contacts got stuck and caused the overfill situation. Read More...

Chuck July 04, 2013 for Model Number MZD2667HES How would I determine where there would be a block in the water lines within this model
1 Answer Chuck, If you are referring to the icemaker not getting water then the block would more than likely be in the fill tube. The fill tube feeds the icemaker in the freezer compartment. If there is no ice or water you will want to install the bypass plug and see if the filter is clogged. Read More...
Scott March 20, 2013 The ice maker in my Amana side by side started spraying water around the area of the icemaker while it is refilling with water. It only does it while it is refilling and it works fine in every other way! Any ideas?
1 Answer Hello Scott, Sounds like the fill tube is freezing up. Thaw it out with a hair dryer and replace the water valve to correct the issue permanently. Since no model number was posted, I regretfully cannot verify the part number you looked up is correct. Read More...

Ranga October 30, 2012 for Model Number JGA8100ADB I bought water inlet mfg part # 67005154 and installed. I still have no water or ice. I have excellent input water pressure. I am using by-pass to eliminate filter problem. No leak anywhere.
1 Answer Hello Ranga, The first thing you want to check is to make sure that you have 120vac coming to the water valve. If you do not have voltage then you need to find where you are loosing voltage. If you do have voltage then you want to check to make sure that the valve is pumping. If it is then you would need a filter head assembly. With a correct model number we would be able to advise you better. Read More...
