Bill October 23, 2016 for Model Number MSD2756DEW My icemaker fill tube was frozen up, so when water came to it pressure build-up caused the outside inlet tube to slip out of the filler connector. Removed icemaker fill tube; thawed it out and reinstalled. Now I find that the icemaker tray is not fully filling all at one time. Is this normal, or should the water valve stay open until the tray is completely filled.
1 Answer Bill, The water filter tray should fill to about 2/3 full and if it is not filling that much then look for icicles and make sure that the fill tube is positioned properly in the ice cup. There is no blockage or frozen tubes. The water dispenser clicks when pressed but no water comes thru. Then the next day it works (high pressure and lots of water)... then it stops again for days. Tk May 29, 2015 for Model Number LSD2615HEW Water was leaking from refrigerator and ice maker stopped working. Had ice in freezer from overflow and Just installed a new water valve. Hooked everything up and water came out of fridge on floor again while bleeding air out of the lines. Ice maker tends to overflow into freezer. Any ideas or suggestions?

It is not noticed if it occurs when the ice maker fills. 1st noticed after replacing a filter. Action: Replaced the filter a second time. Result: Noise as the new filter first filled. Stopped. Then 2+ gallons without noise. Noise returned Now. Fills about 3/4 cup, beforfe the knocking noise. Opinion: the noise appears to be vibration at the filter. Could this be the water inlet/solenoid starting to fail?

Bill October 09, 2013 for Model Number Maytag MZD2667HEQ I have water dripping from my water dispenser on my fridge. Would that possibly be the Solenoid (Whirlpool p/n AP4080479) or would it more likely be the Water Valve (67005154)?
