Larry, You're on track. The place to start is the water inlet valve WP67005154. also check and replace the water filter, if you haven't done so recently EDR4RXD1. Make sure you "flush" the water supply line, before to attach it to the new valve assembly. Thanks

Hello Casey, The water valve is not serviceable as per the manufacturer. Since it is "melted" together in the manufacturing process, if it is opened, it is destroyed.

Hello Richard. If the dispenser keeps dripping water and does not shut off, you will need to replace the water valve WP67005154 in the unit. It sounds like it has a slow leak.

Hello Warren, This is called a John Guess fitting. To install a line you push the line in and after it bottoms, it will pop in about another 1/4 inch. To seal it, you simply pull on the line. To remove it you push the line toward the valve and while still pushing, push in on the ring around the line. While holding the ring in, pull the line out.

Hello Anthony. You will need to run about 2 gallons of water through the dispenser to remove any air in the system and stop the dispenser from dripping. If the problem continues after this, you will need to check and see if it is getting air in the lines from a small crack or bad filter. If all is good, you may need to replace the icemaker D7824706Q. Hope this helps.

This fridge was donated to us. The water valve was missing and the 3 lines were cut. I ordered a new valve and need to know where the two gray 5/16" lines go coming from the upper left of the back (one has 2 blue bands on the end) and then the one 1/4" clear line coming from the upper right. I also noticed two clear 5/16" shorter lines behind where the valve goes. The left line goes up to the fridge and the other end thru the back. The other line comes down from the fridge and the other end is open into a drip pan.

Hello. The grey line with the brass fitting coming from the filter head WP67004106 is for the water supply line of the house. The other grey line with the blue strips goes to the single top hole on the water valve WP67005154. Then the other two water lines are sized different for the valve. One is ¼" and the other is 5/16". Hope this helps.
