1 Answer Hi Gerry. The main power control board is part # DC92-00123A. The heater relay has to close and send the 120vac to one side of the element for heat. The motor part # is DC96-00791A. It has to close the internal centrifigul switch to send the other half 120vac to the heater for 240vac proper voltage. This will only happen when the motor sw. closes and all thermostats are closed and the thermister on the blower hsg. controls the on/off temp. swing of heat. However the motor is no longer availiable. Please call APP Call Center 1- (877)-477-7278. Thank you. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Linda. Disconnect the power going to the unit. Then remove the screws holding the side trim pieces in place and remove the side trim. Next remove the screws on the bottom corners of the control panel. Remove the screws holding the oven in place and pull the oven out about 3 to 4 inches. Lift upward on the control panel and unplug the wires going to the panel. Reinstall with the new control panel WP8300435 in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
Isaac June 11, 2011 for Model Number rbd305pdo14 Oven temp control won't go past 260 degrees, is it the control panel?
1 Answer Hello Isaac! Is the bake element coming on when powered? If not, check to make sure that the bake element is receiving 240v from the clock, if it is, replace the element WPW10207397. If you are not having a problem with the element, it could possibly be the electronic board WPW10438751. The board has been discontinued, you may contact Whirlpool for further assistance obtaining a new board. Thanks. Read More...
