Rbd305pds14 Double Oven June 25, 2012 for Model Number Whirlpool RBD305PDS14 Display was dim but clock was working. Oven will appear to start up in preheat mode (can't really see display but from experience sounds of fan, click of relay and preheat countdown display, it SEEMS to be). Heating elements don't come on though. Oven Lights come on when you open door and/or push oven light switch. Checked output of transformer which is ~25VAC(blue wires). Checked for 240VAC on power board studs. Good there. Control panel replacement? oven is about 7ish years old.
1 Answer Hello. Test the thermal fuse WP4451354 located on the back of the oven for continuity. It should read closed. Also, test both elements. They should read closed as well. If there is 240 volts coming from the clock, then either the element or fuse is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Ryan February 15, 2012 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 Hello, I just recently install a new control panel purchased from you guys on my whirlpool double oven. I have full power to the oven. All the lights work as well as the clock and timer. However the on/ off keypad buttons do not work. What could now be wrong? Thank you for your help.

S. November 22, 2011 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 Control panel just beeps, no clock or other display shows. If you press Start it goes "beep beeeeeeep beep beep beep" in that short-long-short-short-short pattern. All other buttons just result in a short beep. Lights work when oven doors are opened. How would I know if it's a control panel problem vs. a fuse problem? Oven has worked fine for years, so I don't think it could be a 240v-from-the-wall issue.
1 Answer Hello S. Based on the information you provided, the control board WPW10438751 is badn and will need to be replaced. If it was a fuse, it would not beep. Hope this helps. Read More...

Brian October 29, 2011 for Model Number RBD305PDB12 Wirlpool (black) I am getting intermittent "E6 F2" error and blank display. Occasionally get a series of beeps. Oven light works, nothing else does. Re-seated and cleaned ribbon cable connector. Verified continuity at low voltage transformer common leads. Verfied 120 on each leg of A/C. Control Panel or Control Board? Anything else I should check first?
1 Answer Hello Brian! An F2 E6 failure code indicates a cancel key drive line is open. Here is the information we have available regarding this error: 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board). 2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock). Your control panel is part number WP8300435. Thanks! Read More...
