Shawn February 01, 2018 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 Screen began to dim. Now almost completely dark. Can still make out numbers at an angle, but very dim. Unit works fine, and still gets to temperature. We used it enough to enough to know the button sequence to pre-heat. All buttons work fine and no error beeping seems to be occurring. Is this the control panel to replace or the transformer?
1 Answer Shawn, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty transformer which will be part number WP9760587. Read More...
Brandon October 04, 2017 for Model Number rbd305pdb15 I have a whirlpool double oven model rbd305pdb15. Screen is off however buttons still make a noise when pressed. Light will still come on. I still have voltage everywhere. I just ordered part ap6012603, control panel with membrane. Is this correct? Thank you.
1 Answer Brandon, This issue sounds like it may be the transformer that is faulty and not the touchpad. You will want to test the transformer on the unit to make sure that it is good. If the transformer is good then this will be a control board issue. The transformer part number is WP9760587 and can be tested by checking for 120 vac at the p16 connector between pins 5 and 7 for 120 vac and if there is power there then test from the p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 to 24 vac. If there is no power at this point then transformer is bad. If there is power at this point then the control board is faulty. If there is no power at pins 5 to 7 then the control board is faulty. Greg December 28, 2016 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 My oven works fine (all functions) and there are no codes. However it keeps beeping randomly at all times. I have recycled the power and it still does it. It seems to be with the timer function, but not sure. I replaced the control panel (not the touch panel) and that did not help. Is the speaker and timer function in the touch pad?
1 Answer Greg, No, the speaker and the timer function are circuits and components of the control board. You will need to replace the WP8300435 Control Panel Assembly w/Membrane Switch The key pad circuits have started to deteriorate and make contact inadvertently, and makes the speaker sound as if a key was pressed. Aaron P December 23, 2015 for Model Number RBD305PDB14 I have purchased the control panel with with membrane and now the transformer, but the oven still does not turn on at tall. There is just beeping and I do hear a ticking sound but nothing lights up. Do I need to purchase the Electronic Control Board Part Number: AP5801414. Did I even need the transformer part? I tested it and it was dead. Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Aaron, If you tested the transformer and it was not getting power to it then the transformer would not have been needed. If there was power to it but not out of it then the transformer would be the issue. The control does sound like it would be faulty if with the new transformer the unit will still not operate. Chris October 07, 2015 for Model Number RBD305PDB14 Does the Control Panel Assy. W/membrane switch p/n: AP3131744 have the electronic Control Board p/n: AP5801414 attached to it of are they separate items? Nothing on my oven works. The buttons were beeping when pushed and the oven lights would turn on but not anymore.
1 Answer Chris, If the display is not working then you will want to check the transformer to make sure that it is working. If there is beeping but no display that is usually the issue. Test using a volt meter and check for 120 vac at the P16 connector pins 5 to 7 and 12 to 24 vdc at the same connector pins 2 to 3. If you have proper voltage then the control board would be the issue. The membrane switch will connect to the control board but would not have anything to do with the display working. The transformer part number is WP9760587. Read More...

Jac March 24, 2015 for Model Number RBD245PDB14 The Dbl Ovens works sometimes - but then all the indicator lights go out - then E6 & F2 lites are indicated. I have reset the circuit panel & still the same problem. Will actually bake/work some times but then stops. Does it need a complete new "Control Panel"?
1 Answer Hello Jac, This is the fault code for the cancel key drive line open. Basically you should check the connections for corrosion and/or poor/loose connections. If nothing is found, replace the keypad WP8300427. If the problem persists, replace the control WPW10438751. Read More...
