1 Answer Joel, Unfortunately, with the part being discontinued there would be no alternative for it and you could only see if you can locate one doing an internet search. Read More...
Sherry January 13, 2018 for Model Number NFW7200TW10 Where do you get the bolts for the spider/shaft assembly?
1 Answer Sherry, The Tub Flange Bolts WP34001277 / WP3400127 have been discontinued by the manufacturer. The manufacturer no longer sells the part. We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us and we don't know of any other source for the part. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay, Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturer's part number. Lastly, try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or part that will work for your machine. If you have the original bolts, re use them, just apply a coating of Blue "Loctite" to the threads to lock them in place. Read More...
Bob R September 23, 2017 for Model Number MAH8700AWW With the front of the washer off, I rotate the inner tub slowly. I see that the inner tub does not stay concentric to the outer tub. Does this mean that the shaft is bent? Also, the tub assembly is not level (parallel with the floor) inside the cabinet. The rear of the tub assembly is tilted downward. Is this normal? You guys are a great help. You have certainly earned my business. -Thanks
1 Answer Bob, With the inner tub having the rear lower than the front, this would be normal. As for the tub not staying concentric to the outer tub this would most likely be a tub shaft issue which would need the shaft frame assembly 34001407. Read More...
Richard D October 15, 2016 for Model Number MAH8700AWW Is there any way I can know for sure if the Assy-Frame Shaft is broken.
1 Answer Richard, Without completely pulling the unit apart, you could try to rotate the inner tub and push up on it and if the inner tub moves independent of the outer tub then the shaft frame assembly is broken and would need to be replaced. Read More...
