This lid hinge bearing supports the washer lid at the pivot so it opens and closes smoothly. When worn or broken, the lid may squeak, bind, or sit misaligned. Replacing the bearing restores smooth, stable lid operation. What it does:

  • Provides a low-friction pivot surface for the lid hinge pin
  • Helps keep the lid aligned and supported during opening/closing
  • Can address squeaking, stiffness/binding, wobble, or a loose/uneven lid
  • Replaces cracked or missing hinge bushings at the lid pivot
What's included:
  • 1 lid hinge bearing
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and, if applicable, shut off water supply before servicing
  • Support the lid to prevent strain on hinges while removing hardware
  • Remove hinge fasteners/pivot pin, replace the bearing in the lid hinge pocket, and reassemble
  • Inspect the opposite hinge/bearing and replace as needed for even action
Helpful tip:
  • Many washers use one bearing per hinge; order the quantity your model requires.
