Ken L. April 24, 2012 There is a strip in the rear of the dryer drum, which is felt on one side and looks like leather on the other side. This strip has been coming off in pieces and we need to replace it, as I think the drum is now uneven. I can not find a part number for this part. Can you tell me what part number it is please?
Maurita C. January 13, 2012 for Model Number LER8858EQ2 While attempting to replace the dryer belt, a 2nd problem was found. Affixed to the inside of the front panel, on the outer perimeter of the bearing support installation, there is a 2 color felt seal which rides inside the 2 piece bearing ring. This felt seal is broken/torn in two and quite disfigured . It is affixed with 4 white snap clips. I could not find the part number or identity of this seal. It is what I need to service the dryer. Can you please assist?
1 Answer Hello Maurita! From the description provided it seems that you need the front felt seal, part number W11035878. Hope this helps, thanks! Read More...

Wm. August 09, 2011 for Model Number 11076801690 The drum does not turn. I think it is the belt, but I cannot get into the machine to check. There is no toe plate. How do I get in?
1 Answer Hello WM. Remove the lint filter from the top of the dryer. Next remove the screws under the filter. Then you will need to release the clips under the front corners of the dryer. Lift the top of the dryer and remove the screws holding the front panel in place. Unplug the door switch and remove the front panel. You can now access and replace the belt 341241. Hope this helps. 1 Answer Hello Marge. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then remove the two screws under the lint filter, and release the clips in the front of the dryer to raise the top. Once the top is raised, remove the two screws holding the front panel onto the dryer, and lift the front panel off the dryer. You will see where the bearing rings snap into the drum. Release these clips and remove the old bearings. Reinstall in reverse order with the new bearing rings. Hope this helps. Read More...
