Bob October 25, 2018 for Model Number GI5FVAXVB03 During Hurricane Michel the power flickered off and on 5 times but did not stay off After a while I noticed water in the floor and thing in the refrig. were not that cold. The light inside was on but the control panel in the left front door was dark. No blue lights on and temp. readings . If you press any button on the control panel all the lights come on but go off again when you let go. The compressor will not come on !

Jon November 09, 2017 for Model Number Whirlpool GI5SVAXXVL00 Just in the past 2 days the front dispenser lights and controls have been blank at certain times of the day. Do we need to replace the whole pad? Or what are your thoughts that might cause this?

Make sure there are no loose wires and connections, or discoloration inside the plastic connector housing. Shane R May 24, 2016 for Model Number GI5SVAXVL01 I have seen numerous posting but no one saying it worked by overlay or control board. My Fridge was working then next person 30 seconds after me stopped. You cannot switch between ice and water, its stuck on ice and will dispense. You press the buttons and it ill illuminate all LED lights. Plus the Temp up button does not work and will only illuminate all LED lights.

Riz November 06, 2014 for Model Number GI5FSAXVY03 Want to replace the water dispenser control panel on the Ref. The 'buttons' are not working, not adjusting configurations and water/ice. The picture on this overlay is exactly the same as what we have. However, when I search for the part on this model, it says the overlay is not within the Model # part. Can you pls verify? if I order the part anyway and does not work, can it be returned? Your immediate response would be much appreciated. My food are getting frozen :-( Thanks. Riz
