Gus September 18, 2018 for Model Number GI5SVAXVQ00 I have a GI5SVAXVQ00 refrigerator. The light has quite working on the control panel. There is no apparent bulb to replace. I'm assuming it is integral with the board inside. Everything else works except the light by the dispenser. What part do I need. Thank you.

Paul January 13, 2018 for Model Number GI5FVAXVL01 After what I believe was a power surge, my Whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling and freezing. The display panel also stopped working. The unit is still getting electricity, because when I open the door - the light still comes on. Also, if I push any button on the outside display, the entire panel lights up - but does not function or stay lit. I tried unplugging it for a while to "reset" it, but that did not work.

Rick October 31, 2017 for Model Number Whirlpool Refrigerator GI5SVAXVL01 The dispenser display panel has no lights at all. Press any button and the whole panel lights up and the display has 8.8.8 8.8.8. Tried to reset of panel and it will only light up as explained above. Tried unplugging for 60 plus seconds and get a noise (sounds like out of the display panel) and the same lights as explained above and then nothing... the panel goes dark again. My guess is the control panel is shot... but I don't know what I need to order. Please help asap!

Jack December 07, 2014 for Model Number GI5SVAXVL01 I have a Whirlpool refrigerator model GI5SVAXVL01. It seems either the control panel overlay or control board is bad, but I don’t know for sure which one is bad. We became unable to switch to water from ice dispensing (by pushing the water button). It continued to dispense ice for about 4 months after that, but now no longer dispenses ice either. Neither the ice or water button will ever activate the blue LED by the respective button (those LEDs are always off, no matter what). Whenever the Ice, Water, or plus temperature buttons are pressed, the blue LEDs for the fast cool, humidity control and light buttons flash. As does the yellow Order LED by the filter button. The ice maker itself is fine, continues to make ice if we empty the bin. Both freezer and refrigerator temperatures seem fine. I’m wondering which part is bad, the Electronic Control Board (AP4369768/W10162500) or the Overlay AP4366548/ W10168686 . Do you have any ideas?
