Looking for a control board for the 3 door maytag frig. The serial number is 12844061LV. I understand from posts that it is important that the board supports the programming code of the model. The code on the frig shows 1411. Please advise. Thank you.

Michael, if there are not two numbers at the end of the model provided when verifying with the model tag, the main control W10890094 would be used.

Curtis December 15, 2022 for Model Number MFI2568AEW

I have a maytag model MFI2568AEW that the water dispenser will come on all by itself and flood the floor. It does turn off by itself but not entitled there is water every where. If we use the lock function on the control board on the door it won't turn the water on by itself. Why is it doing this. And what part do I need to fix this?

Curtis, Based on the model number you will likely need both the control board and the dispenser board. The ice dispenser continually opens and closes and/or the UI/Dispenser comes on and off intermittently. The power supply circuit on the high-voltage control board may fail. Unfortunately, the UI board has been discontinued by the manufacturer & is no longer available. No alternate or substitute part has been recommended by the manufacturer.

15 year old Maytag refrigerator gave error messages and stopped working. Ordered a new main power control board part number W10890094. Installed and worked temporarily (couple hours) after inputting the CODE 0302. Has stopped working again and now will not take the code. Serial number 10724306. Do I have the wrong part?

i have replaced ice maker and water valve on refregerator and still no ice.I have checked for water and ice blockage what is it

G mon, It could be from the temperature is to warm to let the ice maker cycle. There is a 12 VDC fan that pulls freezer air up into the icebox to make the correct temp. We will send you a tech sheet that shows you how to electrically test these thru the control board in the service test. Also, make sure the left door does not have an indentation where it closes the light switch. We have seen that also, with the door open or light switch open there is no power to the ice maker.

We have a 10 year old Maytag Ice2O French Door Bottom Freezer. The lights on the control panel are off, but the unit seems to be working (cooling/freezing) just fine. Is it time to replace it or can we purchase & install replacement parts myself? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Rodel, if the dispenser is dispensing ice and water, the failure would be in the dispenser control W10775847 LED. Replacing the dispenser control can be done by any DIY individual and it would be recommended that the power supply to the refrigerator is turned off before replacing any part.

Maytag refrigerator purchased in 2010. In January 2020, we were out of town for 2 weeks. came home and refrigerator was off. Lights on control panel were off. Light inside worked. all food ruined. Cleaned it out, next morning it was working great. continued to work fine. Left town for a few days on 2/14/2020. returned 2/22/2020 to same issues. Your thoughts on the fix?
