Ken October 06, 2013 for Model Number lfx25971s1 I had a code for FF ( freezer fan ) I replaced the fan motor that started making a lot of noise. Fan works but the FF code will not go away even after unplugging fridge. I have heard a lot of bad about the PCB and PWB. Which would I replace that controls the fans? Thanks very much. Ken
1 Answer Ken, The main control board would be the part that would control the fan part number EBR41956418. With having the FF error code still showing, make sure that the fan does not have ice build up around it that would cause it not to turn and if this checks ok then replace the board. Read More...
James October 04, 2013 I have replace the optics boards with the part 4389102 and they now indicate that everything is OK. However, the icemaker still will not fill - consequently, still no ice. What now?
1 Answer Hello James, Check the fill tube for an ice blockage. If it is clogged, it can be cleared with a bowl of hot water and a turkey baster. If it is clear, (no ice blockage), the water inlet valve is the most likely suspect. Read More...
