Trouble for Model Number Whirlpool GSF26C4EXWOO

The Water dispenser paddle is no longer working to dispense water. ( Ice maker works fine.) For awhile, you could reposition the glass on one side of the paddle and it would dispense but was very touchy- you had to get it in just the right place for it to dispense water - if you moved the glass very slightly it would stop dispensing, but if you could find that tricky little spot again, it would dispense water. Now it won't dispense at all.

Trouble, Based on this information it sounds like the dispenser paddle is bad and would need to be replaced.

Dick, Yes, the Flipper WP2198633 and spring [ AP3037555} are pretty essential for proper ice maker operation, and safety, It temporarily stops the ice maker operation cycle when the freezer door is opened. The overflowing water to the ice maker is more of a water inlet valve W10408179 or ice maker cycle issue 2198597 , so you'll want to check those next

DJG, The first thing that you will want to check is above the left hinge there is a wire harness. You will want to make sure that the wire harness does not have any loose or broken wires. If this checks ok then it sounds like the dispenser control is what would be at fault.

Hello Joel. It sounds like the boards are not the issue. You either have another issue causing the no ice, or there is a wiring issue with the wires or connectors for the boards. It is very, very, uncommon for the board to go out that quick.

My ice maker stopped making ice. When I open the door to the freezer, I do not see any light emitting from the optical unit. There is no water in the unit. The water dispenser works fine so at least that solenoid is working. At first I thought it was the ice maker mechanism, but because I see no 'emitting' light from the optical control system on either side of the freezer, I am suspecting that this unit (emitter and receiver) is the problem. Yourt thoughts? Thank you

My ice maker stop working. When I open the door the LED flash twice than pulses and then flash twice again. When I close the flapper the LED stays on continuously. The ice maker motor is burn out. I jump the water with the water dispenser plug in back of Frig.. Works find. The problem Im having is the voltage at the main harness for the ice maker is only giving me 97 volts on all three power wires. I bump the door switch twice and got 120. But not sure if that was the problem. Now when I open the door I read 97 volts again. Can get the same result I had when I bump switch. What do you thinks causing the low voltage at main harness. Thank you.

Rich, You will want to pull the icemaker and check to see if the pins in the middle of the large gear on the icemaker module W10190935 are broken. If broken then you would need to replace the module.

Hello Sreinauer. That is all. The boards will only instasll one way. There is no way to install wrong if you install as the old ones were.
