Hi Nichole. If the freezer is good with temperatures and the evaporator fan is working, then the freezer is OK> The condenser fan motor should always be on when the compressor is running. You can pull out the unit, take the back cover off and see if it is running. You may need to feel the quiet compressor and see if the fan is running next to the condenser coils. If you see any dirt or dust on the coils this means that the system is working too hard and the coils need cleaned. Use the condenser cleaning brush and a shop vac to get them clean. Is there any frost on the back wall of the freezer? If so then you have a normal defrost failure and will need to change the defrost thermostat part # WPW10225581, and see if your control will put it into defrost. The control board is in the control area. It is part # WP2307037. If you do not see any frost at the back freezer wall, then it is possible that the damper assy is not opening enough to allow the freezer air to get into the fresh food. Damper control is part # []. If you change the temperature and do not feel the damper motor change to open, chances are it is bad. You can remove the damper (in the fresh food) upper lt. corner and see if you can feel incoming air now. You may need to unplug it electrically and force the damper to stay open at a 50% rate until you get the part. If the temperature sensor is out of calibration, then you will need to replace it. Part # WP2188820. This senses the inside cavity temperature and allows the board to cycle the damper control open or close to allow the setting you need. It should ohm out to 2.7 k ohms, at 25°C.(77°). Thank You.
