Stu July 12, 2019 for Model Number Kenmore Elite HE5 My Kenmore HE5 is blowing air but not hot. I have checked for lint blockage and all is clear. Most times when powering up the dryer light will blink a lot then all power turns off. I can unplug and re-plug in and pattern will repeat. If I wait it will stay on and start buy won't dry. Odd problem. Should I change the circuit board?

Dave April 15, 2019 for Model Number 11087088601 my kenmore dryer blows thermal fuses. The outlet thermistor registors about 3 ohms below specs, also the heating element is about half burned out. The heating element comes on in the air flow or fluff cycle. Any ideas
1 Answer Dave, It is possible that the heater relay on your control is stuck closed or the centrifugal switch is stuck closed not allowing the heater to turn off or your element has grounded to the casing and heats anytime the dryer is running. Test the terminals at the element to the heater housing and if you have continuity the heater needs replaced. Read More...
Victor November 16, 2018 for Model Number 110.87561603 Kenmore Elite Replaced main control board, it was obviously blown. All control lights came on but nothing else. What else could be problem?
1 Answer Hello Victor, You should first check the wiring to the door switch WPW10318609 since this would cause the issue. You should also check the belt switch 279782 and the thermal fuse WP3392519. I'm sorry but this part WPW10318609 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Carolina December 14, 2017 for Model Number WED9200SQ0 Hello, I know that I need a new WPW10110641 control board because of the F01 error. I called a local appliance parts store and they said I will need to buy a new core unless I can bring the old one in when I buy the new one. What is the core? If I buy this part from you does it include a core? Or do I reuse the old one? Thanks for your help!
1 Answer Carolina, The core that they are referring to would be the original control board so that they can have it shipped off to rebuild it. Read More...
