1 Answer Hi Mike. Remove the water filter cover part # WP12568001 from the filter head assy. On the end which has 3/4 " wide curved sides... You insert that inner side female tabs into each corresponding filter head male post for each tab just described. Insert one side end first and then compress and pop in the other side. Reinsert the filter and then make sure it is tight. It now will pivot upwards and the release lever tab on the front of the filter cover will hook into the upper cavity to hold the filter up right. Dawn August 20, 2011 for Model Number msd2651hew The holder for the water filter is broke. The upper part that connects to the refrigerator has broken off and the water filter falls out. We found the part of the holder that looks to be the bottom part that clips on, but we need the top part. Please help.
