Tom October 04, 2014 for Model Number 106.9322510 The freezer compartment has a lot of frost near the top front. It has always been frost free. Also the ice maker front cover is broken. Could this be the problem?
1 Answer Hello Tom, The frost is an indication that the door seal is not sealing properly. The room humidity coming into the unit is condensing and freezing, forming the frost. You need to check the door strike and seating of the seal around the frosted area. If it cannot be adjusted or heated with a hair dryer to conform properly, you will have to replace the door seal. The door seal is listed under the model number from the units' I.D. tag, which should be verified since the model number you posted is not coming up as valid. You can verify the model number and re-post or call us directly 24-7 at 1-877-477-7278 and our representatives will be happy to look up the part number for you. Read More...

Christine H. April 01, 2014 for Model Number MOD PT122MFMARWW SERIAL HD905103V My GE refrigerator has caps on the door, one at the top of the door and one at the bottom. I've had the fridge for 12 years now and have replaced the caps 3 times because they break all the time. I was trying to locate the parts on your website but cant find them. Can you help me? And if you know what I'm talking about do you know why they continue to crack and break completely off?? Or, can you just help me find the parts so I can order new one. Thanks for you help..
1 Answer Hello Christine! The end caps are part number WR02X11427. Unfortunately, we do not know why the part would continuously crack and/or break other than manufacturer defects and age of the product. Make sure the items are installed properly. Thanks. Read More...
Sam December 04, 2013 for Model Number m1txegmyw01 I want to remove the ice maker. do you sell a cover to go over the hole in the wall.
Donna December 05, 2011 Follow up to first question about removing ice-maker. Donna, Raising the bail arm on the ice maker works for a while, eventually it gets hit and falls down and the ice maker operates and burns out(on occasion). Your best bet is to reach behind the ice maker and unplug the 4 wire connector from the freezer wall connector and let it go at that, until you can install a water line to the ice maker fill valve assembly. Good Luck and Thanks I'm never going to use the ice-maker, so after unplugging the 4 wire connector mentioned below and taking out the ice maker itself, is there a cover plate that can be purchased to cover the freezer wall connection?
1 Answer Hello Donna. No, there is no need to cover the connection. They do not make a cover for the model number you provided. Hope this helps. Read More...
Donna December 02, 2011 for Model Number GB2FHDXWB Want to remove the ice maker from my whirlpool bottom freezer. The delivery guy said it was pretty simple; just unscrew 3 screws. But he said I'd need to cover the exposed wire and that I could get a "cover plate" or something to that effect. Do you know what he was talking about? And if so, do you sell it here? Or, would it be better, in your opinion to just leave the ice-maker in? If so, do I have to make sure the wire handle is always in the "up" position?
