For Whirlpool Ice Maker Fill Cup And Bearing Assembly (Part Number: OEM18030435)

Jack, Replacing a fill spout for an ice maker, is not a common problem, Most fill tube problems are due to a seaping water inlert valve and the tube freezes up and won't fill the ice maker. Most ice maker fill tubes require you to remove the fridger, so you can access the back of the unit. Disconnect the 1/4 in. fill tube from the grommet. The grommet and fill spout are a very tight"friction" fit, You'll need to pull the fitting out the back of the freezer wall, and force the grommet and spout into the opening, and mkae sure there is a good, tight seal to the back of the cabinet. Good Luck and Thanks.

Whirlpool Ice Maker, part #628356. I have read by other's comments that one must remove three screws to remove the ice maker from the inside of the freezer compartment. I found the phillips head screw underneath and one hex head screw on the underside just behind the auger motor which I could remove with a nut driver. I can't find the third screw and the assembly will not come out. please help me find the third screw or offer complete instructions for dis-assembly of the ice maker from inside the freezer. Thanks.

Hello Jay. There is two screws at the top of the icemaker, toward the front and back, and one under the bottom of the icemaker. You will need to remove all three screws to remove the icemaker. Hope this helps.

Hello Dick. You will need to remove the module and the stripper from the icemaker. Then there is a clip on the bearing that releases to remove from the mold assembly. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
