Casper for Model Number Kitchenaide KUDS25ShBT1

Unit cut off during cycle with dirty water standing in bottom; appears to have been in rinse cycle as water is slightly cloudy but not fully dirty. Keypad reacts irregularaly; if Start button is pushed, nothing happens. If Cancel button is pushed, light on Cancel button lights and machine immediately starts to operate, pumping water, but still does not complete the cycle. Cuts off before cycle and drying are performed. Other keypad buttons seem to operate properly when pushed, just will not start with Start button.

Hello Casper. You will need to check the door switches. If good, replace the control panel and make sure drain pump and hose is not clogged.

Jim, With the normal light blinking this will be an indication that you have a stuck keypad which the control panel WP8531251 would need to be replaced.

David, This issue sounds like there may be an open led circuit in the keypad which would require the keypad to be replaced.

Dan for Model Number KUDS01DJSS0

My dishwasher will NOT heat during either the wash or dry cycles. The total time to cycle through is about 2 1/2 hours. Incoming water is 122F at the kitchen sink but lower in the bottom of the d/w after filling. The control panel lights; "heating", "add a dish", and "sensing" remain lit throughout the entire wash cycle. Continuity tests include; Thermal fuse @ .3 Ohms, Hi-li it thermostat @ .6-.8 Ohms, Thermistor @ 59-60 Ohms @69F, and Heating element @ 9.6-10 Ohms, which according to your last response are all good. Checking multiple times during both the wash and dry cycles, the heating element never gets hot. The wiring looks good, but what can I check to verify this? Can this be a circuit board issue? Thanks for sharing your time and knowledge.

Dan, You will want to check to make sure that the heater is getting power to turn on. There should be 120 vac at the control board on connector P6 to Neutral. If there is not then you will need to replace the control board.
