The Dome and Blade Assembly is an OEM part for Whirlpool blenders. This assembly includes both the dome cover and the blade, which work together to blend ingredients efficiently. The dome ensures that contents are contained within the blender jar while the blade chops, purees, and mixes the ingredients to the desired consistency.

Causes of a bad dome and blade assembly can include wear and tear from regular use, damage from blending hard or frozen items, or corrosion and dulling of the blade over time. These issues can lead to decreased performance and the potential for leaks.

Symptoms of a bad dome and blade assembly include:

  • Reduced blending efficiency or inconsistent results
  • Leaks from the base of the blender jar
  • Unusual noises during operation
  • Visible damage or dullness of the blade

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Hello Appliance Parts Pros: I ordered the new blade and gasket component for my KitchenAide blender. The new blades are very helpful. BUT my blender still leaks when I use it. I have attached a picture of this, taken from the underneath side of the blender container, looking at the blade mechanism from the underneath. I think you can see from the picture that it still seeps fluid out through this component — I believe it is coming around the gasket. I have tried swapping out the new rubber gasket with my previous gasket, and have the same problem. Before ordering this part I read online comments about other people having a similar problem. I had originally thought that the liquid was seeping from the base of the blades, but I now am convinced that is not the problem. Do you have a suggestion for me? I am tightening the white base onto the glass contain as tightly as I can.
