Jonathan October 24, 2018 The replacement unit W10823693 with 4 prongs is the correct unit for this stove. JES9750AAW 8" coil burner with 2 prongs has been discontinued. W10823693 is correct and has all four prongs labled, What 2 plugs do i plug into? There isn't anything online about this.
1 Answer Jonthan, The JES9750AAW is a Jenn-Air Modular Electric Downdraft Slide-In Range, and has removable "cartridges" in different configurations. Apparently you have a JEA7000ADW, Conventional Coil Cartridge that needs the coil burner element(s). The part numbers for the coil elements are WP660532 6" (sml) coil element, and WPY04100165 8" (lrg) coil element. The parts are in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...

Pamela May 05, 2013 for Model Number CVE4270B I purchased an replacement part, the one I received did not match the original. I have read some of the other questions and answers that relate to the same problem I'm having. My question is do you have a diagram that would show me how to actually wire the replacement part? Thank you for your time and attention. Pamela
2 Answers Hello Pamela. Sorry, there is no diagram. However, it is only 2 wires and you will install them onto the same spades as the old element. These are not hard to install. Read More...

Paul July 16, 2012 for Model Number 8185638 I too bought this and my original part had two connector prongs. The part I had has four(5 total. 3 free, and two welded together. The images you have on your site only show 2 prongs and one welded together (3 total). please help!
1 Answer Paul, This part may have been "substituted" by the manufacturer. Without a model and serial number, it's a bit difficult to verify. But, if the wattage rating and burner size are proper, you can use the new burner. The two terminals farthest away from the element, on the sensor assembly(box) usually labeled 1B and 2B, are for the "hot surface" indicator light, and you can disregard those connections if you have no hot surface indicator circuit, or a individual sensor mounted to the cook top. Leaving you two wires to contend with. One wire will attach to the "empty" terminal on the outside of the burner element ring, and the other will attach to the"empty" terminal, closest to the element, and opposite the welded tab.
