Carl March 14, 2020 for Model Number W5CE3024XB00 The large element will continuously heat and then burn whatever is in the skillet. Is there a separate thermostat or do I need to replace the element or switch. Thanks.
1 Answer Carl, it would be recommended that the wiring is inspected to ensure there are no grounded wires going to the element. If this checks good, then the right front switch WPW10244639 would be the reason for this failure. Read More...

Norbert September 20, 2019 for Model Number Kenmore 6289087610 Hi; I have an old Kenmore smoothtop kitchen range for which I need a replacement right rear radiant heating element. Since this appliance is from the 1980's it is difficult to find information regarding compatible burner elements. I have removed the stovetop and the burner in question. On the back of the ceramic I read "REX ROTO RR-1223-A2" and below that "1200 W. 240 V." but have been unable to determine what might be a suitable replacement unit. Thank you for your help!
1 Answer Norbert, The part number for the element would be 1310524 but unfortunately has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
Mohammed September 13, 2019 Whirlpool stove WFE320M0EB0. The right front side is not side (large element) is not working (no light/heat). What is the part number for the surface element? Thanks
Qpham March 20, 2019 for Model Number WFE525C0BS0 Looks like the front two large burners are not working as the front right lights up then go off and no heat for a long while. The front left lights up but takes and seems like it works but take a long time to heat up. I opened up the cover and noticed both of these burners got cracks in the ceramic like ring parts that the coils are in. And the rear burners that i tested to be working all have the rings intact. I'm not sure how they cracked but is that what caused them to not work anymore? Anyway would I need to replace both front large burners and the correct p/n for them? Thanks
1 Answer Qpham, the cracked insulation you are referring to will not keep the element from working, it just keeps the heat from leaking out around the element. The part numbers for the front elements are, W11047722, and WPW10535150 Read More...
Caleb Soileau January 05, 2019 for Model Number WFE710H0AE0 I am not sure what part numbers I need to order for the front right burner and the back left. I also have a hot surface light always on. Is this because the front right burner is not working completely? the back left burner is only partially working. Thanks.
1 Answer Caleb, The part number for the right front surface element will be W11517959 and the left rear element will be WPW10342780. The hot surface light would most likely be on because of one of these elements being defective. Read More...
Zac March 26, 2018 for Model Number WFE714HLAS0 I recently obtained part # WP8273994 to replace the left rear surface element as indicated in the schematics for stove model WFE714HLAS0. Upon delivery of the part, I noticed it only has 4 posts for 4 wires (just like the right rear element). The left element on my stove has 5 posts for 5 wires. Need to know what element is needed to make this repair please.
Dave W March 14, 2018 for Model Number WFE510S0AS0 The left rear burner (6") constantly cycles on and off. Why? Do I need to replace a part? If it's a part, which one? Thanks!
1 Answer Dave, It is normal for a burner to cycle on and off but if it is doing it rapidly then this would most likely be a surface element that is faulty. Read More...
