1 Answer Sandy, The thermal fuse is a inline fuse that would be behind the control panel of the unit. You will want to remove the screw from the underside of the control and slide the unit out slightly and remove the screws from the side of the control panel. Once removed you will roll the bottom of the control panel up and lift off the oven. Read More...
Jim February 22, 2015 for Model Number GBD277PDT7 Oven does not come on. No Lights. But beeps when buttons are pressed. Is this the control board or could it be the thermal fuses??? Control board is no longer available, so looking at options for repairing it if that is the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Jim. Check and see if the thermal fuse WP4451042 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Peter November 28, 2014 for Model Number Whirlpool RBD275PDQ4 Although power/circuit breaker is on, there is no power to the control board. When pushing "Upper Oven" and "Start" a short beep, followed by a long beep, followed by three short beeps are heard. I purchased two of the 4451042 fuse from you. Two questions: Is that the right fuse and if so do I have to remove the oven to get to the back to remove a cover over the lower oven area to change the fuse? Or can you tell me where it is located? Thanks, Peter
1 Answer Peter, To access the fuse there is one of 2 ways to do this. The first way would be remove the control panel and try to access from the front and the other way is to pull the unit out from installation and remove the top to get to the fuse. You will want to also check on the control board from the P7 pin 1 to P4 pin 10 to see if there is 120 vac at this point. If there is then the thermal fuse is good and you would need to replace the control board which would be at fault. Read More...
Dave November 11, 2014 for Model Number RBD275PDQ2 My display lights are out, no clock or temp, but the oven works fine. What should I check?
1 Answer Hello Dave. Test for power to the board 4448876. If there is power there, and it does not light up, then the board is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
John November 03, 2014 for Model Number RBD305PDQ2 My Double Oven Display board is not functioning. There is no display of any type on the control panel. I do not know if the circuit board has failed or if the Thermal Fuse has Blown. I checked all of the breakers for the wall unit and they are ok. I did have a power outage the other day and I noticed that the oven did not display anything after the electricity came on. Any Idea's
1 Answer John, You will want to check the thermal fuse for continuity, if there is continuity then the thermal fuse is good. You would then want to check for power between the P7 pin 1 and the P4 pin 10 and if there is 120 vac at this point then the control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Appnovice November 02, 2014 for Model Number GBD307 I have Whirlpool Double wall oven GBD307 which stopped working after self clean cycle. There was no display and the upper door oven door was locked. After reading many posts on internet including at this site, I purchased and replaced both the thermal fuses parts from appliancepartspros - AP3885687 Thermal overload (for upper oven) and AP3110028 Thermal Fuse (for control panel). After changing both the fuse when I turned the circuit breaker... there is burning smell coming from the control panel. Needless to say, there is still no display and door is locked. :-( There was no smell coming from control panel with circuit breaker ON before changing the fuses. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Jack L October 26, 2014 for Model Number RBD305PDB8 I have this unit double oven, the light inside comes on but there is no power to the panel, I have checked the house breaker but still nothing , when I push the upper start button it starts to come on then beeps and shuts off. model RBD305PDB8, I have read on your site about the fuse can this be the problem ,Thank you
1 Answer Jack, The most likely cause of the issue with the panel beeping but not having power would be the transformer. You will want to test the control transformer part number []. To test you will check for 120 vac at the P16 connector pins 5 and 7 and check for 12-24 vdc on the P16 connection pins 2 and 3. If there is 120 vac to the transformer but not 120 vac out then the issue would be the transformer. If there is not 120 vac to the transformer then test for power on the P24 pins 3 to pin 1 and see if there is 120 vac and if there is then the control board is faulty. The transformer part number is WP9760587. Read More...
