Shelia, Based on the information provided I would check the oven sensor to make sure it is ok but, the issue sounds like the bake relay on the control board is stuck closed and would need to be replaced. W10769823

Hello Dave, You will first need to check all connections in case this is a poor connection. If connections are tight, the control board WP9782455 and power board WP9782435 will be in question. (The display board is powered by the low voltage transformer on the power board).

When we press Bake, Broil or Roast, the range initiates and when the temperature gets high (to the designated number, for example, Bake 177), the range turns off by itself beeping and giving an error code F1-E3. By pressing Cancel button it resets but when we want to restart the process it will not work. When we press for example Bake, it shows the temperature 177 but the below ON sign is not lit, and asks Start? When we press the Start button it beeps changing the temperature on the dial to 0 (the ON is still not lit) and asks again to start (over and over again). It takes a while to wait (cool it down) and several trials of pressing the buttons to get it finally to work. Keeping the console clean helps a little but not all the time. It also occasionally gives beeps when not in use. What may be the problem? Thanks

Hello Andre, The fault code F1 E3 indicates a configuration mismatch. As per the tech sheet, you should check the configuration of the jumper change, freestand, electric switches or P3 pins 1 to 5 to make sure they have not been changed since power up. 1. Make sure harness to P1 connection is correctly installed per wiring diagram. 2. For jumper number 9754366 Red for model featuring exposed bake element without top light, it should be between P3-1 to P3-5. For jumper number 9754371 Black for a model with hidden bake element without top light, P3-1 to P3-3. For a model with hidden bake element with top light, there should be no jumper. 3. Run end of service sequence.

Ayu, The connectors that are on the ribbon harness that connect to the control board only come with the console and if you are needing the connectors on the control board itself you would need to get the control board.

We moved this range from one house to another, and I cleaned it before installing it. After cleaning it, I plugged it in to electricity (but not to the gas yet), as the oven door would not open. All the lights on the control board lit up for 2-3 seconds, as if they were "booting up". Then, it simply just said, "Control Lock". I pressed and held the #3 on the keypad for 3, 5, 10, even 30 seconds; same with the cancel buttons. Timer would not work as the manual says it should even in control lock status (howevr, timer lights up 2-3 seconds after first plugging in to electricity). In the end, I had to remove the back panel and jump 120v to the oven door lock actuator, and that finally opened. Back to the control panel and console, I removed them and inspected ribbon cables, jumper (P1-P3 etc) connectors, soler connections, and all looked OK. I jumped and disconnected oven door switch incase that was bad, because the manual said the oven door must be open to unlock the "Control Lock". Any advise on getting the control lock off? It's not worth spending hundreds of dollars on parts for this oven, and even eBay used parts are $100+. The only option I'm giving myself is to find a way to unlock it, if not, it's being donated. I've bought many parts off APP, and others off eBay; depends on how sensitive the part is. Thank you.

Robert, If the control will not unlock by pressing and holding the number 3 key then this will be a faulty console which will need to be replaced.

Larry, This is a Glass control panel, with a keypad and lens attached to the underside/interior of the console. If someone used the improper cleaning solution or scouring pad, etc. the glas could have been damaged / distorted and the display could be difficult to read. Replace the control panel 9782418CB / 9782418cb and check to see if there is any moisture or condensation inside the console assembly.

Hello Allen. You will need to check and make sure the ribbon cable from the control panel is secured good to the control board. If not, you will get these error codes.
