Frank R June 14, 2016 for Model Number Kenmore Elite 75429 The model number is for the 2016 version of the same oven that was purchased in 2013. I don't know if the parts are the same or not. But, assuming they are, Are the screws designated for the handle sold individually, or in pairs? How many screws per handle?
1 Answer Hello Frank. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up invalid. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
Joe T. April 07, 2016 for Model Number SF387LEGW3 I have no problem using the old or new screws to attach the door top trim (Item 1, Detail 06) to the handle, but then attaching that assembly to the door itself is a problem. The old design had a threaded brass insert, where one would screw the door-handle and door top trim assembly to the door with the small screws (W10777162). The new handle does not have those brass inserts, and no threads at all. Your previous answer to the same question, you stated that screw #3196164 is "self-tapping," that is, we insert the screw, then crank down on it as it taps itself into the lower part of the handle. Right? Just want to make sure. If it works, or if you have a better answer that works, I'll order the rest of the replacement parts I need for the stove.
1 Answer Hello Joe, As per the manufacturer, you will need to order the self tapping "plastic thread" screws WP3196164 to mount the new version of the door handle WPW10202217. Read More...

Marv February 26, 2013 for Model Number RF387LXGW I just received door handle W10202217 for the RF387LXGW range. The brass self-tapping screws similar to 3196164 for attaching the handle to the trim piece are fine. However the old handle had threaded inserts for two small black screws to attach the handle to the door. The new handle is untapped. Are 3196164 the screws needed for this also or is there another part number? What size are these screws? Thanks.
1 Answer Marv, the handle is not threaded and will need the self tapping screw part number WP3196164 for installation. The screw is approx. 1" long. Thanks! Read More...

D.G. August 14, 2011 for Model Number GS460LEKT 1. How many screws are needed? The handle has 4 holes (2 each side), but I read that only two are needed. Which is it? 2. How can I tell whether my oven is white or almond? Is there a pronounced difference between the two colors, eg does almond have a definite goldish tinge?
1 Answer Hello DG! From your model number GS460LEKT, the unit is a designer biscuit color. Your oven door handle will be part number W10202218. The screws are part number WP3196164 and come one per package. We have no information from the manufacture advising how many screws are needed for the install. However, once the door is taken apart you will be able to verify how many are needed. It seems to be only two, however, we are unable to verify. Thanks. Read More...
