David, The oven safety valve is a very good possibility of being faulty. To check here is what you need to do. Test for 3.2-3.6 vac at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Hello Jim. Yes, the best way to solve the squeek, is to replace the hinge 74011142. It is best to replace both when replacing the hinge on the door. You can also try applying some lubricant 5303307893 to the hinges. Hope this helps.
