Hello Jim. Yes, on the side of the module is a small white plastic screw. Move it very little to adjust cube size. A little is a lot.

Shel for Model Number Subzero 650

Is your Whirlpool part compatible with the Subzero 650? Also the Whirlpool model I seem to be seeing around is the 4317943. How is the one you sell different? The one in our fridge is intermittent. Sometimes it just stops making ice, other times it overfills the tray (a little) and pours some water into the ice tray below, where it freezes. It isn't failing "reliably". Is this a typical failure or is it likely to be anything else but the icemaker itself. Very helpful repair video by the way! Thanks.

Hello Shel, The one you were looking at will work but I would use WPW10190965. The real difference is where the mold heater thermal cutout is mounted. This clip for the thermal cutout can be carefully moved if necessary. It has to be carefully driven in by the mold heater so it is aligned with the thermal cutout on the harness. The original wiring harness should be used to assure the proper thermal qualities are met for the application.

Mike for Model Number Kenmore 2001 Side by Side Model#51569102

Does this kit work for this model? My ice is forming small cubes repeatedly that get stuck upon ejection so I think the flow mechanism is malfunctioning. I took it out and tried to adjust the flow screw and broke it trying to turn it. Nice. I'm assuming a new unit will rectify the matter. Any advice would be appreciated. Have you seen this issue and is it generally rectified by replacing the unit? Thanks in advance.

Hello Dave. No. But the freezer has to get it cold enough to cycle and bring in the water.

Al

We woke up this morning and there was water in the ice tray, no more ice cubes. There was water in the fridge and on the floor in the kitchen. The water in the ice tray had a layer of ice on it. So, it looks like the water kept running out of the ice maker and melted the ice in the ice tray. We never shut the water off. Anyway, I was afraid the freezer quit working, the food was softer not frozen solid. After a while the food was frozen again. I looked at the ice maker and the wire arm you can flip up or down is stuck halfway down and will not go all the way down to make ice. But will go up. Help please.

Hello Al. If the icemaker is stuck in the fill position, you will need to order and replace the icemaker on the unit.

Hello George. If the icemaker is leaking, replace the icemaker in the unit. If it is overfilling, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.

Brent for Model Number Roper Model # RS22AQXMQ00

Hello - My Fridge / Freezer (Roper by Whirlpool Model # RS22AQXMQ00) is giving me some issues. When I turn the ice maker on, water comes down the water chute and into the ice maker. Rather than the water staying in the ice maker the water just runs directly through causing water to go everywhere in my freezer. The water chute does not seem to be frozen. Any idea as to why the ice maker will not accept the water to make ice cubes? I'm not sure if I need a new ice maker or would this be caused by the water inlet value? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Tony, In most cases when you have a jumping water line it is caused by water flow going into the valve and through the system. This is normally caused by low water pressure in which you will want to check the incoming water pressure to make sure that it is above 20 psi. Also make sure that there is a good filter in the unit if there is a filter in the unit.
