David H February 23, 2015 for Model Number model SF375PEEW0 Where is the igniter block located and how do I get to it?
1 Answer David, Based on the description it sounds like you are looking on how to access the spark module of the unit. The spark module can be accessed by pulling the unit out from installation and removing the rear panel. Once removed the module will be on the left side and may be under the burner box but is access from the rear. Read More...

Rose March 24, 2013 for Model Number SF387LEGW1 I have a Whirlpool gas range about 7yrs old,I have to light it with a match. Sometimes there is a clicking sound and other times not, three burners will light ,but the front left will not. There is a small clip out of the spark electrode is this the problem or do I have two problems. Plus a different parts page said it should be 42" long [spark electrode] not 36" which is right. THANK YOU
1 Answer Rose, It does sound like the igniter is the problem. The correct part number for your igniter is W11032529 Read More...

Frustrated March 16, 2012 for Model Number SF377PEGZ1 Hi, I have a 12+ year old Whirpool gas stove/oven, and the main burner (left front) doesn't light immediately after sparking. I hear the tick tick tick of the ignitor, but it takes a while to light so most of the time I use a Bic lighter. Is the problem the ignitor? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello. You will need to check and make sure the burner, igniter, and the cap are good and clean on the unit. It sounds like they ay be a little dirty and it is not sparking correctly due to this. Also, the unit must be dry to work properly as well. Hope this helps. Read More...
Matt August 11, 2011 for Model Number Whirlpool SF375PEEW I have to light all 4 burners with a match - Problems seem to be with the ignitor: I do not hear the clicking sound when I turn the knobs, this happens with all 4 burners. The manual said to check household fuse or a circuit breaker tripped - I did and it has power - Any recommendation on what to check or to replace? Thank you,
1 Answer Hello Matt. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the spark module WPW10110491. If so, and the spark module does not work, you will need to replace the spark module. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Doug L. July 24, 2011 for Model Number SF395LEEQ0 Can you offer me instructions on how to replace a top burner igniter? I'm having trouble getting the range top off and tracing the igniter wires. Do I need to remove all the burners, then the whole top, in order to disconnect the wire of the bad igniter? Thanks.
1 Answer Hi Doug. You need to open the door @ 30 degrees. There is a momentary stop there to allow you to lift off the door and to set it aside. You might need to open it all the way , then lock the hinge locking tabs down on the hinges to hold them in place as you will then lift the door up off the inner hinge and pull out gently on the door assembly. Then you will access and see 2-screws holding the underside of the top assy. from comming up. You will need to have already taken off all 4-burner caps, burners and lifted them off disconnecting the wires one at a time from the igniters. This will give you access to the manifold / tubings. You can just remove the individual burner off from the top then disconnect the wire from the igniter itself. I would try this first, before the door and top removal as it will save you time and money.the burner igniter # is W11087383. Thank you. Read More...
Bob June 13, 2011 for Model Number Whirlpool SF377PEGQ Having a hard time lighting the front Left burner. I see a spark, but it isn't over the top of the igniter like the others. I'm assuming I can replace the spark igniter, but not sure how big a job it is. Whirlpool SF377PEGQ1?
1 Answer Hello Bob. You will need to make sure the top cap of the burner and the igniter are clean from debris. If not, it can cause the problem your having. The manufacture does not offer step by step instructions for this repair, if the igniter W11087383 needs replacing. Hope this helps. Read More...
