  • Generates a high-voltage spark at the surface burner to ignite gas
  • Typical symptoms: no spark, intermittent/weak spark, burner lights only with a match, or constant clicking
  • Mounts near the burner head; works with the spark module and switch harness
  • Inspect for a cracked ceramic insulator, damaged tip, or loose lead
What's included: One surface burner igniter/electrode
  • Disconnect power and shut off gas before servicing
  • Handle the ceramic insulator carefully; avoid touching or contaminating the electrode tip
  • Confirm proper gap and alignment to the burner head/cap after installation
  • Check the spark module, switch harness, wiring connections, and burner cap/grounding

David, Based on the description it sounds like you are looking on how to access the spark module of the unit. The spark module can be accessed by pulling the unit out from installation and removing the rear panel. Once removed the module will be on the left side and may be under the burner box but is access from the rear.

Sarge, I found model SF360BEEZ0. The left front and right front burner ignitors are different. For the right front ignitor use part number W11032529 and for the left front ignitor use part number W11087383. Thanks!

Hello. You will need to check and make sure the burner, igniter, and the cap are good and clean on the unit. It sounds like they ay be a little dirty and it is not sparking correctly due to this. Also, the unit must be dry to work properly as well. Hope this helps.

Hi Doug. You need to open the door @ 30 degrees. There is a momentary stop there to allow you to lift off the door and to set it aside. You might need to open it all the way , then lock the hinge locking tabs down on the hinges to hold them in place as you will then lift the door up off the inner hinge and pull out gently on the door assembly. Then you will access and see 2-screws holding the underside of the top assy. from comming up. You will need to have already taken off all 4-burner caps, burners and lifted them off disconnecting the wires one at a time from the igniters. This will give you access to the manifold / tubings. You can just remove the individual burner off from the top then disconnect the wire from the igniter itself. I would try this first, before the door and top removal as it will save you time and money.the burner igniter # is W11087383. Thank you.

Hello Bob. You will need to make sure the top cap of the burner and the igniter are clean from debris. If not, it can cause the problem your having. The manufacture does not offer step by step instructions for this repair, if the igniter W11087383 needs replacing. Hope this helps.
