Tommy K October 01, 2012 for Model Number Kscs25fkss02 The control send two pairs of leads to the inverter. I get 120v ac on the white and black leads and on the red and red with white stripe I get 6.4 v ac. Are these correct?
1 Answer Hello Tommy. There should be 120 volts on the black and the white wires. For the red and red/white wires, you should read 3 to 6 volts DC not AC. If so, the board is good on the unit. Read More...

Danny May 16, 2012 for Model Number kscs25inwh00 How can I check the inverter box to if it is working? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Danny. Test and make sure there is power coming to the inverter box. If so, then you will test for power going to the compressor. If there is no power there, the inverter W10629033 is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Rick W. November 12, 2011 for Model Number KSCS25INSS00 I have a Kitchenaid Superba its 7 years old. We had the inverter box replace and the compressor replaced two years ago. The freezer temp goes up fairly often. It goes up enough to thaw all foods in the freezer. There also seems to be some warm spots when it is frozen. I have cleaned underneath several times and that does not seem to effect it either way. I have tried pulling the unit put to increase ventilation that seems to help on a temporary basis. I am wondering what else the problem could be. Any feedback would be appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Rick. Check and make sure all the fans on the unit are working properly. If so, you will need to replace the inverter box W10629033 based on the information you provided. Hope this helps. Read More...
