Dave January 23, 2018 for Model Number JDR8895AAB I have a Jenn Air jdr8895aab dual heat source dual love stove. The lower oven heat element burst. I replaced the heat element and the new one will not heat. The broil element works and the control panel works. I was thinking I need to replace the control board. The voltage at the element reads 70 volts.
1 Answer Hello Dave. You will need to order and replace part number WP5701M796-60 for the board needed. Thank you. Read More...
Alan December 17, 2017 for Model Number JDR8895BAS13 The heating element in the bottom oven does not light up all the way around. The back portion of the element does not heat up. I have replaced the element but the new one does the same thing.
1 Answer Alan, You will want to check to see that there is 240 vac getting to the element. If there is then this element will be working properly. If there is not you will need to determine where the power is being lost. Read More...
Harvey September 03, 2017 for Model Number JDR8895AAW The lower oven will not get to the set temp. The lower element seems to cycle properly. The upper element (broil) does not come on. I opened the back and checked the voltage to the elements. The lower tested 220/240, the upper showed no voltage at all. Is this fixable anyway other than a new control board? Thank you.
Linda November 16, 2016 for Model Number JDR8895AAS I'm looking to order a new control panel. Does this contol panel come with any warranty? This will be the third control panel we have replaced. At this rate it would be cheaper to buy a new stove. Just wondering. Thanks Linda

Paul November 14, 2016 for Model Number JDR8895AAW Display shows 586 bath(i think) all controls are locked
1 Answer Paul, You unit would be in the sabbath mode. Automatic Shut-Off/Sabbath Mode The ovens will automatically turn off after 12 hours if you accidentally leave them on. To cancel the 12-hour shut-off and run the ovens continuously for 72 hours: 1. Press and hold the Clock pad for three seconds. • “SAb” will be displayed and flash for five seconds. • “SAb” will then be displayed continuously until turned off or until the 72-hour time limit is reached. • BAKE will also be displayed if a bake cycle is in use while the oven is in Sabbath Mode. • All pads are inactive except Cancel and Clock. All other functions EXCEPT BAKE (Timer, Keep Warm, Clean, etc.) are locked out during the Sabbath Mode. To cancel the Sabbath Mode: 1. Press the Clock pad for three seconds. • “SAb” will flash for five seconds. • The time of day will return to the display. OR 2. After 72 hours, the Sabbath Mode will end. • “SAb” will flash for five seconds. • The time of day will return to the display Read More...

Linda November 24, 2014 for Model Number JDR8895AAS My oven will not hold a consistent temperature. When you preheat to 350* and bake for awhile and then raise the temp to 400* it immediately beeps indicating that it has reached the correct temp when in fact it has not. It takes two to three times longer to bake anything than what it should. We replaced the thermostat thinking that could be the problem but did not fix it. Is there any other part that could be bad other than the control panel? I really need to get this fixed before trying to bake for Thanksgiving!!! Thanks for your help! Linda
1 Answer Hello Linda. If the temp probe is new, then it leads back to the control board WP5701M796-60. Read More...

Rgi July 10, 2014 for Model Number Maytag Range JDR8895AAS I have to replace the control panel/clock unit but cannot see how to disconnect each of the wires in the old one so I can switch them to a new one. What's the trick? Is there a tab or something that has to be depressed to back out the wires?
1 Answer Hello RGI. The connectors pull off the board. Some of these can be tight. Try using some needle nose pliers to help you remove the wires. Read More...
