Cheryl C. March 09, 2012 for Model Number LLT8233AW2 I need new timer I think. The wash machine if set on 18min runs for 4 minutes set dormant for 14 minutes then starts pumping water out and goes into rinse cycle. Since it only washes for 4 minutes instead of the entire 18 minutes does it need new timer or what?
1 Answer Hi Cheryl. It does sound like the timer contacts are sticky. The timer is part # 285938. It is a mechanical part and can hang up internally. Thank You. Read More...
Bill January 24, 2012 for Model Number Whirlpool LLR8245AWO I need to replace a missing timer knob, item #44. Looking at the diagram, the dial #45 may also be damaged because what remains on my washer doesn't look complete as your photo shows. I also can't figure out how to remove it (the dial) My question is do I order both items #44 and #45 for a complete assembly? How do I remove the dial? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Bill! For the complete assembly you will need the knob and dial, you can purchase the two parts in kit part number 280193. Here is a link from YouTube that our company has supplied, it is for a similiar make/model however, it will give you a general idea on how to replace the timer dial. Hope this helps, thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u51gIt4YlVs Read More...
Pat December 04, 2011 for Model Number LLR823BWD Serial CD1712013 Looking for the correct Timer Knob for replacement. I don't see my model listed and not sure if any of the ones listed are interchangeable. Thanks
1 Answer Pat, the closest model number we could find to the one you supplied was LLR8233BW0. The timer knob has been substituted to WP3364293 and is a screw on /off type knob. The dial skirt / knob kit 280193 should work on your washer as well. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
