Hello Gary, If th4e model number is actually MDB5100AWW, you will need to order W10139223 and WP6-918873. I'm sorry but this part W10139223 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided.

When I close our dishwasher, the lower basket seems to be obstructing the flow of the soap cup by not allowing it to open. The soap cup opens fine if I take the lower basket out. What am I not doing right?

Hello David, Since no model number was provided, I cannot check to see if this is the correct rack for this model. This is the first consideration since the rack has to be made so it will not be an obstruction. You should not cut the rack since it will cause a rust issue. If you could please verify the model number on the units' I.D. tag and post it, we will be happy to try to assist in solving your issue.
