Esther K July 29, 2014 for Model Number KUDS30IVBL3 The spray arm hits on the internal rear feed if I try to spin it....it seems that it should sit a little higher to avoid this? I took the spray arm off and put it on again....but the same issue?
1 Answer Hello Esther. If it is hitting while running, and not turning it by hand, then you may need to replace the spray arm. It will always hit if your turning it by hand because it floats and you can not spin it straight without the water pressure. Read More...
Paul April 14, 2014 for Model Number KUDs301VBL4 How can I tell if the lower wash arm assembly #W10320510 threads are stripped? I have tried to re-install the part but it will not engage the thread. The thread inside of the part does not completely the hole. It seems to be missing about 3/8 ths of an inch. I can not tell if this is the way it is made or if it has been stripped out. How should it look?
1 Answer Paul, Make sure that when you are trying to screw the spray arm down that you are turning the cap counter clockwise or if you are trying to turn the spray arm itself and holding the cap they you would turn the spray arm clockwise to thread on. If this does not work then it sounds like you would need to replace the spray arm. Read More...
Roy February 10, 2014 for Model Number kudk03ct I have seen conflicting information as to how to remove the spray arm from the hub. Some say turn the hub clockwise, others counter-clockwise, could you clarify, I am finding that the tab at the top of the hub is breaking as I try and turn it.
1 Answer Hello Roy. For your model number, 1. Remove any remaining water in the dishwasher. If possible, the CANCEL/DRAIN button may be used. 2. Disconnect electrical power to the dishwasher. 3. Open dishwasher door and remove lower rack. 4. Pull upper rack partially forward and detach the water delivery system from the tub anchor points (2 clips on stainless models; 2 screws on plastic models). Removal of the upper rack may ease removal of the water delivery system, but is not necessary. 5. At rear of pump, grasp the water delivery system and rotate clockwise while lifting upward. When rotation stops, lift the lower spray arm until it is clear of the pump and pull forward. The spray arm assembly and water delivery system should now be free for removal. Read More...
