  • Helps reduce noise and vibration when spinning at high RPMs
  • Restores smooth operation when the original bearing is worn or rough
  • Common symptoms: roaring/grinding during spin, basket wobble/play, roughness turning by hand, possible leak at rear center if related seal wear is present
What's included: 1 main bearing assembly Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and water before service; allow the appliance to cool
  • Access and replacement procedures vary by model; significant disassembly is typical
  • A bearing press/driver may be required; inspect shaft and related seals and replace if worn
  • After reassembly, run a test spin to check for leaks

Tom, Are you sure the pieces are rubber and not plastic ? The friction ring or base could be the issue 40037401 and 27001226 for the side to side motion. The other rectangular shaped "rubber" would be the brake pads R0000014, so does the tub stop spinning (in a couple of seconds)when the lid is raised, or does it "coast" down to a stop ? Thanks

Hello Joe, Yes it would. I would first check to be sure the pump hasn't gotten a foreign object in it as this would cause the same thing. Anything that stops a pulley will burn the belt off.

Hello Marcia. You will need to replace the hub and seal kit R9900552, and replace the milk stool assembly 39253, if the bearing is bad in it. The chirping sounds may be the brake assembly due to the worn belt WP27001007. Hope this helps.
