The Microwave Door Handle (BLK) is an OEM part for Whirlpool microwaves. It provides a sturdy grip for opening and closing the microwave door. The handles measure approximately 10.45 inches long by 1 inch wide. This part has two mounting holes spaced 6.75 inches apart to fit existing screw holes on the microwave door.

Causes of a bad door handle can include general wear and tear from frequent use, accidental impact that leads to cracks or breaks, or exposure to high temperatures that may cause the material to degrade over time.

Symptoms of a bad door handle include:

Difficulty opening or closing the microwave door
A loose or wobbly handle
Visible cracks or breaks in the handle
The handle detaching from the door

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Hello Youshi. No, the handle you need is part number 8184389 and has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.

I need to replace the door handle for my Whirlpool 2004 MH 1150 XMS over the range microwave. I have heard that this is a challenging installation. Does anyone have an instruction manual, or at least some pointers on how to install this handle?
