Tevye March 20, 2012 for Model Number GU1200XTLB1 The dishwasher runs seeming great if you are deaf. It fills properly and circulates great but is crazy load when washing. I'm guessing the circ pump but expert advise is always good. What to do? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Tevye. Check and see if the sump has debris in it and is causing the motor to be noisy. If not, and the noise is from the motor, you will need to replace the motor assembly WPW10757217. Hope this helps. Read More...

Joe February 12, 2012 for Model Number part # ap4434021 Is the thread on the shaft that holds the impeller on right or left handed on part # ap 4434021?
1 Answer Hello Joe. To remove the impeller, you will: Place the end of a flat-bladed screwdriver into the back of the wash motor to hold the armature of the motor from turing while unscrewing the impeller clockwise. Take care not to scratch or nick the motor windings. Hope this helps. Read More...

Gt. December 30, 2011 for Model Number kudl03fvss3 I have replaced the main control board. dw main pump grinding ,sound seems to get stuck in cycle grinding, grinding, grinding untill you stop it. I checked the food chopper it was clear. I checked float switch seems fine. Checked drain hose it is clear. I also checked the drain pump it seems ok. Is there somthing else that would cause cycle to stick. Would pump motor do this. I think the motor is probaly bad because its grinding. Any suggestions ? Thanks
1 Answer GT, have you removed the motor assembly from the wash pump housing and checked the impeller assembly 8193951A , for damage or blockage, causing the noise. Otherwise, with all the other checks and repairs you've made, the issue would be in the motor assembly WPW10757217, Good Luck and Thanks Read More...

Richard L December 03, 2011 for Model Number kenmore 665.16462300 my d/w started tripping the circuit.after troubleshooting circuit,i discovered it is tripping in the "drain" cycle.when i unplug the motor and put in "drain",it doesn't trip, when i plug it back up ,the circuit trips again.my question is ,is it the motor OR could it be a bad triac on the control board
1 Answer Richard, Does the dishwasher run in the "wash" cycle ? If it does, I would not expect the circulation motor to be the issue. Try disconnecting the wires from the drain pump motor( blue/black and gray) . I'd Expect a bad drain motor winding before a bad triac on the control board. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
Cj November 26, 2011 for Model Number 665-16509200 Our dishwasher fills and then obviously tries to engage the pump to begin the wash (I can hear it "running") and then shuts down. It fills and drains just fine but simply won't engage to wash. Could the impeller be jammed? We've removed everything, including the chopper and screen. Still nothing. I've tried the reset. Nothing. Suggestions? Thanks!
1 Answer Hi Cj. Good try. The circulation motor part # WPW10757217, needs changed. The impeller has possibly stripped out from the shaft and you are not getting any positive pressure. Thank You. Read More...
