For Whirlpool Natural Gas Orifice (Part Number: OEM18016941)

James for Model Number MGDE300VW0

Reconverting Maytag dryer from LP back to Natural. I unscrewed the LP Stem and found the nylon adjuster still installed. So the LP Stem wasn't doing anything. I think the person that converted previously to LP should have removed the nylon screw that pushed the spring against diaphragm. So with this Nylon adjuster in place the little stem does nothing to the regulator. It appears to be a mistake by previous installer. So my question is how to set the nylon screw that pushes spring that pushes diaphragm to regulate gas flow.

Hello James, thank you for contacting Appliance Parts Pros. I would recommend replacing the insert [OEM18031826], the leak limiter [OEM18031829], and the orifice [OEM18016937]. The insert should be run down until it is snug, there is also a video attached to the part #s for each of these components that goes over installation.

Bob, The manufacturer made a conversion kit available but did not make a kit to reverse the process. If you didn't keep the original parts then to get it back to natural gas you will need the burner assembly...part number 280119

Francis, Unfortunately, the unit is not designed to have larger BTU's on the other burners and cannot be changed.
