Mike May 19, 2016 for Model Number WFW9151YW00 Is the filter in the pump itself? By the picture it looks like it is accessed by unscrewing it?
1 Answer Hello Mike. You unscrew the front of the pump and pull out the filter. It will come out with the front of the pump. There will also be water come out so be prepared for that as well. Read More...
Mike May 19, 2016 for Model Number WFW9151YW00 I am having a problem with slow draining of water. Is there a filter in the drain hose/drain motor assembly? Will the drain hose going into the pump collect debris or does it go right thru the pump?
Jim March 23, 2016 I keep getting an F-20 code on my maytag epic z model number mdwz400tq02. If I sit out there and watching run a full cycle everything works fine. When. I walk away and let it wash I get the code. What part would I need to help this problem?

Argh December 21, 2015 Last question! If there is water shooting out of my brand new water pump, is it a faulty unit? All of the hoses are connected properly and it is sitting in the gussets. During the drain cycle of the washer, water spurts violently out of the casing, right where the motor housing is screwed to the different plastic of the rest of the pump body. Thanks!
Argh December 21, 2015 I just installed a new water pump into my machine, as the local repair guy said I needed to do. Everything is clamped in, I am sure it's hooked up correctly, but when I ran the washer, all the water pretty much just seeped right out of the motor casing. Is it possible the computer isn't telling the motor to pump? I can't imagine I'm unlucky enough to have two malfunctioning pumps in a row.
1 Answer Hello Argh. Either the pump housing is bad or you don't have the hoses hooked to it properly. Check the housing for cracks. Read More...

Ida K December 15, 2015 for Model Number MHWE251YG00 Thanks for the vid! Saved me $100 in labour :D My washing machine seems to be missing the base that the pump motor sits in. In the video I see that the gussets are slipped into holes on a metal mount... my machine just has floor (I bought it second hand). I can't seem to order the part since I don't know what it's called, and it doesn't exist in the part manuals on your page. I am thinking of just strapping the motor down to a hefty wood block since I don't want it just jumping around. Thoughts?
1 Answer Hello Ida. Some are made different than the video. Your model number does not have this type of set up. Thanks. Read More...
