Jennifer July 29, 2011 for Model Number 110.27062600 No question....just RELIEF!!! After the continuous banging during the spin cycle, I did everything but give it an exorcism and take a hammer to it! After serious searching and asking questions I decided to purchase the suspension kit. After a 20 minute installation, my washer is as good as new! I noticed right away the basket was higher than usual and it didn't wobble much...there was more tension. I tried it out with a nice load of towels and VOILA!! Thank you to Appliance Parts Pros for the awesome experience and hundreds of dollars saved!!
Angie July 19, 2011 Well, I got the kit, but I don't know where to put them. The included instructions just says to first unplug hoses and from power socket, but then it skips right to putting them on. It doesn't show you how to get to the place where you replace them. Please help, and my Washer is a Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SG2.
1 Answer Hi Angie. The suspension rods insert like this: Locate the blue "cup" support on each rod. This support along with the spring assembly has to be inserted in the lower sides of the tub. The upper hooks on the rod will catch onto the top inner corners of the cabinet frame. You will need to release the clips on the top of the front panel with a putty knife. They are located under the top area just where the top meets the front. About 3-4" from the corners inward. they will allow you to lift the top up for replacement of the suspension rods. Hope this helps. Thank you. Read More...
Lane June 22, 2011 for Model Number 110-27087601 On the suspension rods there is a black washer that sits about half way up the rod from the bottom and top. What is the purpose of this piece since it does not touch anything? I have taken apart 2 washers that are identical and the washers are in the same place. Both washers are way out of balance and keep flashing UL codes. I have ordered the rod kit to hopefully fix the problem.
1 Answer Hello Lane. That waser is used for a stop, to keep the spring and bottom pieces from coming off the rods. Hope this helps. Read More...
Lane June 22, 2011 for Model Number 110-27087601 When replacing the suspenion rods I see on the top of the machine how the hooks sit in the cups. My question is how does the bottom piece that has the spring feed into the housing. Do you come from the bottom the machine up thru the housing on the side of the tub or does it have a notch in the side of the houseing that it will slip in and out of?
1 Answer Hello Lane. The tub has slots on the sides that the rods slip into, and the outer tub rest on top of the spring cups. Hope this helps. Read More...
Unbalanced Load June 08, 2011 for Model Number WTS6600SW0 If you are experiencing a frequent "UL" and the washer is clunking like someone is hitting it with a hammer, this should solve your problem. A very simple install that will take less than 30 minutes. I fixed mine yesterday with this kit and it works like new. WIFE HAPPY!
Byron April 19, 2011 for Model Number 110.27072600 No Question Here. I was unsure if this was my problem. My washer was unable to finish even a pair of socks without going into the unbalance mode. We were ready to throw the machine in the dumpster. Took about 20 minutes to replace the rods and i can't believe how wonderful the machine works now. If your machine is giving you the UL code, these are a must replace item. Only thing I'm upset about is it took me a month to decide to try them. Could have saved a month of laundry money. One last item. You can replace them by yourself if you use the old rod to hook the new one and pull it straight up through the new bushing. This will prevent you from bending the new rod when trying to pull the weight of the tub back up. Thank you for all the help on this site.
Mike April 08, 2011 for Model Number WHIRLPOOL WTW6300SW0 No question, just user experience. The replacement suspension kit is Da Bomb! Our washer was so out of balance it sounded like someone was beating it with a hammer. It took about twenty minutes to swap out the rods. We ran a load and the machine now runs just like new. The only addition to the instructions I'd is remove and replace one rod at a time and have two people involved. Excellent product!

Tom March 19, 2011 for Model Number 11027072600 This is not a question but an helpful update. These rods are upgraded from the original ones that were a bad design to begin with. They are heavier and come with support cups that originals dont have. They corrected my off ballance loads completely. Thanks! Tom
Guest February 25, 2011 Are the springs to weak or what causes these to go bad washer goes to spin cycle and shows unbalanced load is this the problem took them out and strected springs worked fine 2 or3 loads then same problem
1 Answer The springs can go bad, depending on the loads you wash, and any out of balance issues you might have. A new set should fix your problem. Read More...
1 Answer Hello, I'm showing that you used model number 11027062600 to run a search for this suspension part. If the model number is correct, the part we are currently offering is a substitution part. Meaning the old one your washer came with is no longer available from the manufacturer. Hope this helps. Read More...
