Maurice T August 05, 2015 for Model Number MDB7609AWB2 Dishwasher appears to operate completely normally except: 1. dishes in top rack do not get washed. 2. dishes in bottom rack do not get washed well. 3. frequently, but not always, small amounts of rinse water remain visible in the bottom of the washing chamber. Drain pump, which can be heard operating normally, was opened and was squeaky clean with impeller intact.
1 Answer Hello Maurice. Make sure the water is turned on and hot before starting the unit. Also, remove and clean all filters and spray arms in the unit. Once this is done, you will make sure the water is filling to the bottom of the heater on the unit. Read More...

1 Answer Travis, You will want to check the optic sensor first to make sure that the sensor is good. The part number for the sensor is WPW10705575. If the sensor checks ok then the issue will most likely be in the control board. Read More...

Brad November 12, 2014 for Model Number KUDE70FXSS5 When running our dishwasher using Normal wash and turning off Pro Dry, the dishwasher will stop and the Blue indicator light will slowly blink on and off. The dishwasher seems to run much longer if I run the hot water in the sink prior to turning on the dishwasher. Would this be an issue with the Thermistor or should I look in other areas?
1 Answer Brad, If the unit works when running the hot water prior to use then the issue is that the unit is taking longer to heat the water than normal. You will want to test the heater and thermistor for possible fault. Read More...
Jeff November 04, 2014 for Model Number KUDR25SH I am having a persistent problem with my KitchenAid dishwasher. About a month ago the child lock light illuminated and will not go off. I tried pushing the Energy Saver Dry button for 5 seconds as many suggested but the problem remained. I just replaced the control board with a new one but once again the problem remains. Today I attempted to reboot the control board but the system has completely lock me out. I ordered a new Thermal Fuse in hopes this may remedy the situation but I am becoming frustrated. The dishwasher works great when functioning properly, so I hate to junk it for another. Any insight would be appreciated.
1 Answer Jeff, The thermal fuse would have no representation of causing the control panel to lock out. This issue would most likely be caused by a stuck keypad which would require a new control board for the unit. Read More...
Steve October 27, 2014 for Model Number MDB7809AWW1 Is the thermal fuse normally OPEN or SHORTED? Mine has continuity (shorted), should it be open for normal operation of the dishwasher?
Jim October 23, 2014 for Model Number JDB3200AWS4 Our unit is acting very odd. Lights were intermittent and commands are not operating correctly. I replaced the touch panel thinking this was it, but no luck. The cancel button lit, and when you close the door, the unit starts and acts like it's working, however it shuts down after about 2 minutes. Now we've ordered the control board from you. Is this correct, or should we have ordered the fuse?
1 Answer Hello Jim, You should do a bit of troubleshooting on this before throwing parts at it. The place to start is in the power connection box behind the kickpanel. It is common if a wire nut is getting loose to lose connection here when the connection heats up. If this is fine, check the door switches and if possible, run a diagnostic test (SERVICE DIAGNOSTICS WITH ERROR CODES Entry sequence: HEATED DRY, NORMAL, HEATED DRY, NORMAL, HEATED DRY, NORMAL within 6 seconds).
