Dennis November 01, 2021 for Model Number 7515P046-60 So I bought this part from you folks, hooked it up and turned on and got no gas, all the other burners work, I unhooked the primary burner line turned the valve to the on position and got no gas. Sent an e-mail to you guys with this description got a response about the igniter might not be working but its not the igniter when the valve is pushed in and turned on it provides no gas. I know there is gas to the valve because when I first installed it there was a gas leak. $69 plus shipping and at least a 3 week wait for this part and apparently it doesn't work. What are your suggestions? Thank You.
1 Answer Dennis, We will need to have the model number of your range to be able to assist properly. Read More...
Robert May 10, 2019 for Model Number CLY2220BDB Is this the right oven thermostat for my Maytag Model # CLY2220BDB Serial # 10120294EL Don't know why but pilot is really weak, and don't want to stay lit. Checked line and orifice. Blew them out. Seem to be ok All the burners on the top work. Looks like I will have to pull upper manifold out to change it. Didn't know if it was this or thermocouple ??? Please Advise Thanks Robert
1 Answer Robert, the thermostat WP7515P046-60 is the correct part for your model. However, if the pilot light is not working properly, then you would certainly want to look at the pilot WP7505P327-60 itself as the main issue. Read More...
Gregg M. October 21, 2016 for Model Number CLY2220BDB I can light the oven pilot light and when I try to turn up the temperature to 359, 300, 350 etc and when I let go of the knob it goes out. What is the problem. Thank You !!
1 Answer Gregg, The part that would be needed for the pilot going out when you turn the temp on would be a thermostat issue which is part number WP7515P046-60. Read More...

Anna October 23, 2013 for Model Number cly1610bdb On my stove top the right back valve close to the knob leaks gas. Took it off to go get part for it end up having to order it but it don't say which valve to order. We do not know the difference of a valve (91 or a valve (65 what does that mean and when it got put back to gather the oven wont light now it worked just fine on the oven before the top part was took apart help.
1 Answer Anna, The difference between the valve is that one is for the smaller btu burner which is 74010756 (6500) and the larger is 74010757 (9100). For the oven when you shut the gas off it is necessary to relight the pilot. If the pilot is not lit then the oven will not operate. Read More...
Trudy U November 28, 2012 for Model Number Amana Electric stove can't find the model number It is a simple model with no extras no clock involved. When I turn the dial to the oven the only place it turns on is just above 450 degrees it does preheat and I can bake some with biscuits and cookies but I really have to watch it they brown really fast on the bottm. I am not sure if the dial it self needs replaced or thermostat. I would love to figure out where the model number is I bought this about 2008 from Menards and I selected not alot of gadgets so it may have less to break down about it. I thought buying it new would also be a plus for me. I really need some help here if you can direct me to the right part I would appreciate it. Thank you for your time Trudy Utterback
1 Answer Trudy, Before you replace anything, check and make sure the control knobs have not been reversed, by accident (If you have the thermostat knob on the selector switch, or visa versa) you'll get cooking results just like you're describing. Without a model number it's pretty difficult to get you parts and service information. Depending on the age of the stove, you may find the production tag on one of the front flanges, when you open the broiler or storage drawer, or it could be under the right front burner element and drip bowl. Kenneth October 04, 2012 for Model Number cly2220bdb How do I install this part? I need instructions on how to replace the valve portion. What screws need to be removed on the valve assembly, and which ones do not need to be removed? On the bottom of the valve there is a channel device with holes in the bottom and the sides. How is this installed in the gas header? I presume the O-ring goes over this channel. The oven I have is in a fifth wheel RV and uses LP gas.
1 Answer Kenneth, We're sending you some information that should help. In short , once you get the burners, top and manifild cover dismounted. you cal loosen/remove the screws holding the manifold pipe to the frame, you can remove the bolt that secures the thermostat to the manifold pipe from underneath. You may also have to convert the thermostat to LP Gas, by turning the conversion/adjustment screw to point at the "LP" setting. Read More...

R. A. April 30, 2012 for Model Number CLY1610BDB The 3 burners work fine. The oven pilot will not light. Pushed the oven knob in for over a minute. After a while the oven burner did light because the thermocouple was hot enough, but the pilot still did not light. Checked the pilot gas line and it is clear. And oh yes, the oven and coach is 5 years old and this is the first time my wife wanted to use the oven. What could be the issue?
1 Answer Hi R.A. If the top burners flame is a strong blue with slight or no yellow tips then the gas pressure regulator must be fine. I would first see if the burner and the burner orifice ports are not clogged with debris not allowing proper gas flow. Check all of this with the gas safety valve off. If you still are not to instantly light the oven pilot then replace the complete thermostat part # WP7515P046-60. Make sure that while replacing the capillary sensor tubing that you completely straighten it out and curve it as you need to bend it. make sure to re stuff all cavity holes with insulation from a local hardware store so the inner heat don't escape the cavity and burn external wires. Thank you. Read More...
