Henry, Make sure that you check all 3 door switches to make sure that they are good. If so then this would most likely be a grounded wire or a faulty capacitor or magnetron.

Patti, With the light and the fan not working you can test the thermostat to see if it has continuity but would be more likely the control board that is faulty.

Hello Dwight. You will need to order WPW10197763 for the control board needed. It sounds like the board is shutting down instead of staying on and running.

Joseph, The first thing to check would be the AC filter line. Check where the power cord goes into it for 120 vac. Then check the blue and black wire coming off of it for 120 vac. If there is not power then the filter board is bad and would need to be replaced. If this checks ok then there are 2 cavity thermostats that you would want to test for continuity. If no continuity on either one of them then the thermal cut off would need to be replaced.

Hello Josh. If it pops and has to cool to heat again, you will need to check the motor switch and possibly replace the motor in the unit.

Ryan, There are two(2) Thermostats in your microwave, and neither has control of the cooling/hood fan. If the cavity thermostat "opens" everything would go blank/dead, until the thermostat cooled down and reset. if the magnetron thermostat were to "open" the microwave would not cook, until it was repalced. At this point it looks like one of the hood fan relays has a "sticky" contact, and you'll need to replace the control board WPW10350619.

Edith, First you will need to remove the M/W from the wall, then remove the outer cabinet, so you can access and test the primary door switch, the MW relay on the control board and the thermostat on the magnetron tube, with a multimeter. You will need to be very careful, these are high voltage components and you can hurt yourself if you aren't careful. The additional information we sent you may be a bit more helpful. Thanks and Good Luck

Mark, the magnetron thermostat W10598693 and the cavity thermostat W10269232 are a good place to start. The magnetron thermostat should have reset and would be a closed circuit after the unit cools down. The cavity thermostat is a"one shot" thermostat, when it gets hot and "opens" it stays open. If both thermostats check proper( a closed circuit) then you'll need to check the secondary door swith W10269460 for a "closed" circuit, with the door closed and check for 120 VAC on the Brown wire pin 1 at the control board to the high voltage transformer, you may have a faulty control board WPW10211457. Thanks and Good Luck
