Rocki April 09, 2020 for Model Number 110.47512600 In my previous question, I botched the model number... it is 110.47512600. I bit the bullet and bought the expensive electronic control board and installed it, but I'm still getting F01 error code when any wash cycle gets to the drain portion. Tub will partially drain, but then gives F01 and will not complete cycle. Putting it on rinse/drain & spin , it will mostly drain, but still gives an F01 at the drain portion of the cycle. Above was done with a partial load of clothes; they did not spin out. I ran the rinse/drain & spin cycle with an empty tub and it completed the cycle without giving the F01 error code. I put the wet clothes from the previous attempt back in the tub and ran the rinse/drain & spin cycle. This time, it started the cycle, at 16 minutes remaining on the cycle, it did drain. At about 14 minutes in the cycle, when it started to spin, I got the F01 error. Is there some sort of sensor that would look for a slight imbalance in the spin and generate an F01? Apparently a load of wet clothes causes the problem, and prevents the tub from spinning them out. I had previously cleaned out the drain pump sump (big white plug) and blew out the drain hose; the fact that the drain seemed to work when I observed this last trial seems to indicate that the drain portion is OK. The problem comes when the spin tries to start. I get the F01 and a tub full of heavy, wet clothes that weren't spun out. Any ideas on what's going on? The new control board cost about 1/3 the cost of a new washer, and if I need a repair call and additional parts the cost would get quickly out of hand. HELP!!
1 Answer Rocki, Check the drain to make sure that it is not clogged as this would be the most likely cause of the issue. If the unit is taking too long to drain it will cause an F01 error. Read More...
Rocki April 05, 2020 for Model Number 110.8574969 Kenmore Elite front loading washer, model 110.47512600. Does not drain completely. Shows code F01. Cleared drain pump sump and checked drain hose, no obstructions. Does not drain on any of the full wash cycles, but will drain and spin on the Drain/Rinse & Spin cycle when washer is empty. Diagnostics for F01 say replace control board - expensive part. Before I spend the money on a new control board, is there anything else I should look at?
1 Answer Rocki, For a proper diagnosis, we would need you to please verify the model number from the units' I.D. tag since it will not come up for us as a valid model number. But in general, if it will drain in one cycle but not in another your control would be the issue. Read More...
Jose January 12, 2018 Washer Kenmore HE2 Plus Model 11047511701; SER HLW2455576. Shows Code F25 before spinning; after pushing Stop drains the water correctly.
1 Answer Jose, The F25 will be caused by a drive motor tachometer error. Possible Causes/Procedure - Verify the shipping system including shipping bolts and spacers are removed, and power cord out of the unit. - Unplug washer or disconnect power - Check all wire harness connections between the Motor & MCU, and MCU to CCU are not broken or wires detached and connector internal pins are visible. - Check continuity from the main motor to the motor control (MCU) and MCU to the CCU (MS2, MI3 cavities). - If the continuity diagnosis failed, Main Harness must be replaced. - Check that the resistance of main Motor. - Check that the resistance of the Tachometer. - Make sure that the motor connector is assembled correctly. - Plug in washer or reconnect power cord. - Verify the unit operation by running the Diagnostic Test cycle. - After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect power and wait for 15 seconds. Donald F December 14, 2015 for Model Number Kenmore HE2 Plus Washer (Front) My machine was throwing an F1 code and worked fine except for water wasn't completely draining after the spin cycle. I read that F1 could be a couple of things and started by replacing the pump motor. The water seemed to drain completely after that but just in case it was the belt drive I replaced that with a new model that was a few inches smaller than the one I replaced. I assume after 9 years mine was stretched out and that would also improve the spin cycle. After 1-2 small test washes I assumed all was good but the first full wash turned up a new problem. Water stopped filling and when I got that to complete it failed to advance to the next cycle. It threw another F01 ... I understand that that could also be one of the circuit boards but each is expensive and I don't need to replace the wrong board if indeed the a board does need to be replaced. How can I determine which board to replace ... the master control or the user interface?
1 Answer Donald, To properly assist you we will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
Kevin S September 05, 2015 for Model Number 110. 47571602 The machine does nothing. Acts like it has no power to it. The plug has power but nothing lights up on the machine. ???
1 Answer Kevin, You will want to check the main control board to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to it. If there is then the main control WPW10679605 would be the most likely cause for the issue. Read More...
Catherine February 07, 2015 for Model Number 11047532602 My washer has been beeping when washing. It goes through a whole cycle and beeps all the time. It sets itself to a cycle i.e normal, heavy duty and whites. All by itself it starts, runs water then stops beeps and starts again. Now it has started turning on by itself and doing the beeping at the same time.
1 Answer Catherine, This issue sounds like it could be a stuck keypad on the user interface board and would want to replace the board. Read More...
Dwayne November 19, 2014 for Model Number 11047512600 How difficult is it to replace the electronic control board on the washer?
1 Answer Hello Dwayne, 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Turn off the water supply to the washer. 3. Remove the three T-20 hex-head Torx screws from the top cover of the washer. 4. Pull back on the cover and release the tabs in the console from the slots in the cover, then lift the cover off the unit. 5. To remove the console: a) Pull out and disconnect cable connector UI8 from the central control unit. b) Remove the cable wires from the two central control unit clips. c) Pull the detergent dispenser drawer out as far as it will go, then press down on the release tab, and remove the drawer from the unit. d) Remove the two screws at the recessed hole and bottom of the console. e) Lift the top edge of the console and unhook it from the holder clips. f) Press the locking tab on the right rear side of the console inward, and remove the console. 6. To remove the touchpad/LED assembly: a) Pull the selector knob off the switch shaft. b) Press the seven console locking tabs, and unsnap the touchpad/LED assembly, then lift the assembly from the console and remove it. REMOVING THE CENTRAL CONTROL UNIT Pull the wire connectors off the edges of the central control unit circuit board (see the top right photo). When you pull an edge connector off the board, first pry the locking tab away from the connector with a small screwdriver blade to release it. Slide the hooked ends of the two wire clamps off the locking tabs, and remove the wires from the clamps. Pry up on the locking tab, and push the central control unit (CCU) toward the rear of the washer as far as it will go, and remove the CCU tabs from the keyhole slots in the chassis. REASSEMBLY NOTE: Make sure that you seat the connectors firmly onto the circuit board, and that they lock securely into place. Read More...

Tony August 06, 2014 for Model Number 110.47532601 Machine keeps throwing up a error code F 28. Assume it's the control panel. Are there any other possibilities to consider?
1 Answer Hello Tony. The communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the User Interface Board (UI) cannot be sent correctly. This error code is only shown in Diagnostic test. Possible Causes/Procedure - Unplug washer or disconnect power. - Check that the power cord terminals are connected at the right position to the RFI filter (white-Neutral/ black-Line). - Check the two ground switches are pressed correctly by the toe and rear panels. - Check that ground switches are fitted correctly, and are not broken and the green ground wires are connected correctly. - Check both ground switches are not broken or have not scratch on them. - Check that all the ground harnesses (green wires) are connected correctly and are not broken or wires became detached. - Check all wire harness connections from the CCU (MI3 cavity), main Motor and MCU are not broken or wires detached and connector internal pins are visible. - Check for continuity from the MCU connector wires to CCU (MI3 cavity) connector. - If the continuity diagnosis failed the Main Harness must be replaced. - Make sure that all the connectors are fully seated. - Check the drive system for any worn or failed components. - Plug in washer or reconnect power. - Verify the unit operation by running the Diagnostic Test cycle. See page 5. - After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect power and wait for 15 seconds. Read More...
