Kenneth B for Model Number MDBH955AWB

My Water flow valve is not filling the washer. I tested the ohms and got 1.1 I tested the current to the switch at the plug to the valve and set the machine to start. Reading was 79.9 volts. I wondered if there is a circut that acts as a voltage limiting device ( such as a float valve) that would restrict the voltage just enough to keep the valve from opening. The stamping on the side of the valve is 120 Volts. Any ideas what I should be testing next? Water flo is OK-Screen is clean.

Kenneth, Correct, your fill valve is rated at 120 VAC. There should be a constant 120 VAC on the black wire at the fill valve terminal, as long as the door is closed and locked shut. You will also neeed to check the aqua colored wire, from the fill valve to the control board(neutral leg). If there are no loose connections and you have the 120 VAC on the black wire, you will need a new control board. Thanks and Good Luck
