Mmr November 21, 2019 for Model Number WGG555S0BW01 I have a whirlpool stove. I need to replace parts that I don’t know the name of. It is the metal part that the igniter is part of. Looking on the schematics it looks like the igniter is #31 and the screws that hold this part in are #23. Do you sell the part I need? I also need to replace the valve on the left rear simmer burner. I’ve replaced other valves - does the simmer burner use the same value as the other burners?
1 Answer Mmr, The part number for the left rear valve is WPW10206287. Looking for the burner head you will have to look at the schematics on our site for which head you need to replace. They are in location 2 and for your info RR means right rear to help you identify. Read More...

Roy July 13, 2019 for Model Number MGT8775XS03 Need a new valve for the right rear burner on this Maytag. Is this part number wpw10206288 or wpw10206287? There is no mark on the stem. Another question-will it hurt to just make this a 16K burner? The size of this burner is just a hair smaller than the other 16K burner.
1 Answer Roy, The WPW10206288 / WPW10206288 Valve, is the correct part to order for the right rear 16K burner valve. The actual BTU rating is based on the size of the burner orifice mounted inside the orifice holder and/or gas valve. To maintain and operate the range properly, efficiently and safely, it is not recommended to increase or decrease the BTU rating on any gas range(other than a conversion to LP gas).
