Lar September 01, 2023 for Model Number MGT8775XS Which burner valves should I buy? I'm pretty sure that I have a Maytag range MGT8775XS, at least that's what the 2014 HomeDepot receipt says. It has that model number on it, but no number at the end, 00 to 04. I've been told that there are 3 different burner valves for three different BTU burners. The frozen knobs are the two on the left, for the largest and the smallest burners. Is it possible to figure out which parts I need with this much information?

Hal April 09, 2021 for Model Number GGG390LXB02 SERIAL D12764081 On the left front burner when I turn the burner on, it seems that the gas comes out with too much pressure. I suspect the burner valve is bad so I looked it up and there are several choices. Not sure which one to order if you think that is the problem?
1 Answer Hal, if there is no sign of the orifice corroding, then it is possible that the burner valve WPW10206288 could allow excessive gas through. If the other burners operate properly when turned on individually, this would reduce the likelihood that the regulator would be an issue. Read More...
Tony December 28, 2016 for Model Number kdrs505xss Looking for the appropriate valve to order for this model Kitchen Aid Dual Fuel Oven. It's the valve for the left rear.
Ted F October 27, 2016 for Model Number Kitchen Aid KDRS505XSS I need to replace the RF and Center(fish burner) valves, they wont turn. Also, the knobs are all loose due to the metal retaining clips are gone. (I don't see a part number for them).
1 Answer Ted, The part number for the right front burner valve is WPW10206288 / WPW10206288 and the center/fish burner is WPW10298678 / WPW10298678. Both parts are in stock and available. Unfortunately, the metal retainers for the knobs is not available as a separate component, you would need to order and install the burner knobs WPW10295131 / WPW10295131 They are also in stock and available. Mike October 13, 2015 for Model Number KGRS505XSS04 What’s the difference between part # W10298678, W10206287 and W10206288? It looks like I need W10298678 as our center burner valve is frozen, but as all burner valves are listed as the same part in the diagram, I wondered what the difference was. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Mike, You are correct that you will need WPW10298678 for the center burner. The difference is in the BTU of the burners. WPW10206287 is for the LR and RR and are rated at 5KBTU and WPW10206288 is used for the LF and the RF and is rated at 16KBTU. The BTU rating is not provided for the center "fish" burner. Read More...
